Susan | 57 comments I finally got around to reading this and I thought it was pretty good. I don't think I like nonfiction as much as I like fiction in general. I liked that it does focus more on Monique and their relationship. But the author is not like a professional writer, so I think the writing is kind of cheesy sometimes. Also, it felt sometimes like she was just trying to find ways to squeeze in some of the health information instead of telling the story. But overall, I learned a lot and I thought it was worth reading.

A host of experts on Mali came together to write out a living history of the unfolding political crisis. Elections are this month (July 28).
