Something has gone drastically wrong with Psi, the caretaker system, and the effects are even being felt in the higher planes. Fortunately, they eventually find help in the form of the writer and spiritual Master Tenzing Jangbu Rinchen and his clandestine organization, The Network.

Key question: Can the mystic network help Marie and Dillon to awaken, remember their mission and get back home safely once more?

One common thread running through all my novels is the help given in times of need by "Secret Friends". If you like Doris Lessing or the writer and thinker Idries Shah, two influences of mine, then you might like Escape From the Shadowlands. This is book 3 in the Shadowlands series, preceded by two prequels, but it's perfectly okay to read this book first. The novel is approximately 87,000 words.
