Sarah (is clearing her shelves) (sarahjf1984) | 236 comments Hi all, as far as I can see from internet research Lynda La Plante has never written a book called A Cut Above. Other than the title, author and the fact that it has been reviewed 25 times there is no other information given in the details. Is there some way to clean it up or do we just leave it?

Lobstergirl Possibly some people think they are shelving:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
by Lynda Page.

Or some people are confusing it with a book Lynda LaPlante did write, Clean Cut.
Clean Cut

Or these people think this title is a future Lynda LaPlante book.

One person tagged it "mysteries," which suggests she thinks it's by LaPlante, a mystery writer. But we don't have many other clues. At any rate, I don't think it matters too much whether you change the author, or the title. No one here is a mindreader, and the worst that will happen is they'll see the wrong book on their shelves one day, and unshelve it, and shelve the correct one instead. But I think it should be changed, it shouldn't just be left as is.

Alright, with your advice and encouragement, I think I'll change the title and merge it with Clean Cut by Lynda La Plante. Thanks for your help.
