Coleen Davis I started this book thinking it was all historical but the spy and adventure held me captive it was a read through the night book

Michael Well, if you liked it I would certainly say, read all the other Steve Berry's too!
In my opinion he's a better writer than Dan Brown.

Lynn Goldstein A must read to see what happens next. Loved the implication how fear for own safety can lead to lies that will change history. Hmm, what if? Absorbing and fun read.

aspasiacat He is always an enjoyable read with the perfect blend of history, adventure and thrills. If you like him try Brad Meltzer and James Rollins too.

Lynn Goldstein OK. Thanks and will look these authors up.

Heather Awesome book............Hope Steve Berry has a new book coming soon. (I have only three books left to read that he wrote). LOVE the Cotton Malone series.

100% agree about James Rollins! I will have to give Brad Meltzer a try.

I agree with you both of these author's are great. I like Dennis Lehane and Lee Child as well. Not as much history with Child, but still a lot of action.

Heather Thanks for all the recommendation for other great authors that write similar to Steve Berry. I have them on my list now.

Mario I agree with all of you on Lee Child, Brad Meltzer and James Rollins. Loved all of their books. Sometimes it's a little difficult to keep track of all the characters, but they are all great reads, in my opinion.

Michell Karnes I loved this book! I am an historical mystery fan as well as anything Tudor so this was an awesome blend of the two. Does anyone know other books with an english mix as this one was?

Michael Gill Its hard to compare other authors to Steve Berry. he uses the 80-20 rule of fiction and fact and does explain in author notes after the story. I checked a good source when he released Templar Legacy. Much better than brown on mason/Templar facts. I like the way he blends fact and fiction to perfection.

Krzysztof Borkowski If you like Steve Berry and James Rollins, try also criminals by Philipp Vandenberg. Some say he was first with this 'brown' stuff mixing fiction and fact. On one of polish edition of his book there is even an inscription by Stern that says "German Dan Brown" :-)

You can also try novels from Raymond Khoury. Templar series or singles (Sign/Sanctuary)

Rosalyn Loved this book a great well maybee it could have been. Steve Berry on top of his form.
