Actually, i am surprised. I don`t have any books that were boring to me. I pick out books that i know that i would like and read.

House of Night is good and I love PC Cast but it feels like it never ends and nothing ever happens. Love the characters though! As for Evermore series ( I think it's called the immortals) it's really bad. I only keep reading cause I like one of the characters. I start out hopeful that it will be better then the last one but end up forcing myself to finish...

My brother is actually the one who got it for me cause he said it looked like a book I would read. Sadly although the covers r pretty I would not recommend

I do recommend you to start with the first book and see how you like it. I really loved it, but then I was disappointed somewhere at the end of books two. You should see how it works for you!

Well, a lot of them!! You reminded me now that I wanted to open a thread just for recommendations. It'll be up in a sec!

I really liked The Night World series by L.J. Smith. I would stay up all night reading it. I just couldn't put it down!

I started to like the Trylle series and the Shadow Falls series too. Those were awesome. I stayed up most of the night to read those.

Oh boy, there are a lot of books that fit that category for me, but the Maggie Stiefvater series usually fits this category. I don't know what it is with her books, they all have this vague, dreamy sort of storytelling that is great, but eventually makes me forget what happened in the book. I couldn't finish the Wolves of Mercy Falls books. The only thing I could finish was her standalone book.

I thought maximum ride was really good at first but it was terrible at the ending

That's why I'm afraid to read the third book. I don't want to be disappointed after the amazing first two books.
The Infernal Devices. I just LOVED Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Prince, but then...Clockwork Princess was terrible in my opinion. I just wanted it to end already and there were so many annoying things, like - why are they all paired up? And what is up with the epilogue?!

I loved the Infernal Devices series!! once I finished Clockwork Princess, I was on shock for like, days. It was amazing. (Not the epilogue though)

 Really? I was so disappointed!
Really? I was so disappointed! I mean, it wasn't THAT bad, but I just didn't feel anything for characters I used to love.
There are so many series that I loved, but the last book ruined everything, like Hush Hush and Beautiful Creatures.

Hmm, that's what everyone says...I don't know if I should read the series or not.

I could not bring myself to finish the Evermore series, even though the first book was amazing, all the rest just got progressively worse. I also could not finish Artemis Fowl, which needed to end, I loved it, but it needed to end. Maximum Ride is probably one of my favorite series ever, but I think that it should have cut off at the third book, I love some of the later ones, but there was a middle period that was horrendous. The Matched series by Ally Condie was never my thing really, but the first books were decent, it was the last one where I could not bring myself to actually care about the characters. Last one, the Sookie Stackhouse series, interesting couple of books, but they just drag on and on.

Okay. Maximum Ride....I feel like James Patterson just knocks out books so quickly, and truly, I did enjoy all the snarky comments and sarcasm he included in Maximum Ride but it seemed that the themes were constantly changing. For like the first three books it was only about hiding and getting away/staying alive then all of a sudden all of this global warming stuff was incorporated! Don't get me wrong, I love the planet as much as the next reader, but it just came out of nowhere! And that last book to end the series... just didn't CUT IT!

The first book was SO GOOD, and I found myself sort of struggling to get through requiem and some of pandemonium was a stretch. One can only do so much running through the wilds before it's like.....UGHHHH! haha

Honestly, after the first three, I would say that the only ones that even came remotely close to being that good were Fang, Angel, and Nevermore. That's only remotely, I don't think that Max or The Final Warning were very good at all.
The Vampire Diaries By LJ Smith I loved the first three but then it kinda got boring and I agree with the Wolves Of Mercy Falls. I've yet to finish the series because I kinda lost interest half way through the second book.

The Wolves of Mercy Falls! I LOVED the first two but I keep rereading the final book and just can't get past 100 pages without putting it down and reading something else, it's frustrating cause I really like to finish series. Also the Hush Hush saga, the first two I read in a day but then the last two were kind of like "ugh"

A lot of people say that, Kiki!! That's why I'm afraid to pick up the last book. I just LOVED the first two books in the series and I prefer not reading a book at all than being disappointed.

Twilight (don't judge me) started off pretty promising. Actually, no. Twilight was great, New Moon was ABYSMAL. Eclipse was absolutely phenomenal, then Breaking Dawn was a bit of an anti climax. Sigh.

I've read Breaking Dawn when I was only 12 and I remember the whole pregnancy parts made me feel sick to my stomach!

I read Matched. It was good to begin with...then it got cliche and boring. Yeah, not continuing with THAT series.

I read the first Thirst novel and liked it but about halfway through the second book it started to get really weird so I stopped reading it.

Two summers ago i started reading the A-list i read the first 6 books then gave up then last year i tryed again read the first 4 and a half than gave up yet again. After that i decide that it just wasn't the book for me but still it was interesting up until i got bored of it each time.
