House of Night series, I started, I think, three years ago and have..."Glad I'm not alone, Melissa! LOL. It becomes almost a challenge. It's like a reader's Mount Everest. LOL.

Hardly anyone else sees it but I thought the first book was addicting, the second was so-so (I only liked when they were competing in the 75th HG) and the third was really hard to get..."I felt the same way! All my friends love every single book but it was hard for me to get through Mockingjay. I just stopped liking Katniss.
Right now, I am reading Crossed and so far it is soo boring!
this isn't going to make a lot of people happy. I liked Divergent. Hated the next two books. I felt like they were a money grab. The third book especially irritated me. When you write from two different perspectives, the reader should be able to tell which character he/she is reading without having to go back to the beginning of the chapter.

Matched for sure I know others feel the same

I know I didn't love it but it tied up the loose strings
Lennie wrote: "OH! and Shiver/Linger/Forever series! I loved all of the books but the ending was like "wait what!?!? its over?" there is a lot left out in the open in my opinion"There's a fourth book now called "Sinner". I haven't read it yet but it would probably answer some of the questions we have left over.
Pretty Little Liars. The first 8 or so we're good and had a complete storyline that was going somewhere. After that, it seemed pointless. Everything is the same and the characters are annoying. I skimmed the last one.But I still read them like a dummy and only have the last book to read.
Diregent. i don't know what it is i just cant get into this franchise. im still mad i wasted $7 on a book i didnt even finish or like
I think I've said it before but the 'House of Night' series, the 'Evermore' series, and the Watersong series (Wake....)
House of night- I just became uninterested and Caster chronicles- I loved the first book but beginning of the second one was so boring I just couldn't force myself to read on.
Maze Runner. I loved the mystery and setting of the first book. In Scorch Trials, you could tell Dashner was trying, (and failing), to recreate it. And in Death Cure, he just gave up. I haven't even read Kill Order; it just looks so bad.
Taylor wrote: "I'm gonna get so much backlash for this comment, but I personally think that the Mortal Instruments series dragged on. I think it would have ended perfectly after the 3rd book like it was supposed to."It was originally meant to be a trilogy. She extended it to get more money.

You're not alone, I like finishing series even the ones that I start to hate.
