Megan Willmon (meticulousmegan) | 6 comments I feel it is appropriate for me to post here that the last book I read was Looking for Alaska by John Green. I was so intrigued by this book and the characters; I simply couldn't stop reading it. It is laced with John Green's inherent humor, which is a primary reason why I loved it. The plot twist in the book just changes the entire mood of it in my opinion, and it is just great insight on life; very thought-provoking. This philosophical insight is similar to Gus and Hazel's musings in TFIOS as well.

Katherine (thebookkaterpillar) | 31 comments I read a very elementary book. It was an American Girl Mystery. I needed to read it to get it off my shelf so I could sell it back to Half Price Books. I liked that it really got me addicted to reading again.

Ashlee (ashleeann) | 2 comments The last book I read was TMI: City of Ashes. I'm only reading it because I like Lily Collins, who's playing the main character in the movies. I've liked the two books I read but I'm not sure if I'm going to continue reading the rest of The Mortal Instruments books

I loved Looking for Alaska...

And the last book I read was also by John Green - Paper Towns, which I loved also.

I have to say, I love that series (thought I like the Infernal Devices a little better), but if you're not feeling it, you're just not. I can understand that.

Yvanka (gasoline) The last book I read was Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail.

The thing I loved about this book was that - for the most part - you feel like you're on a journey with the writer. This was a perfect read for outside in the sun!

Tara'e the last book i read was The great Gatsby

The Thing I loved about the book was the narrator reluctance to actually like the main character. which he was how i felt i didn't necessarily care for Gatsby but then again i did.

Lynn Gemayel | 5 comments This is not the last book I read but I wanted to share it.
Hopeless - colleen hoover

This is one of those books you simply love and can't explain why.
Packed with emotions and surprises. I litterally couldn't stop reading.
If you like a shocking book with a shocking twist, tinted by a cute love story, I would deffinetly suggest you read this one.

Jemima | 4 comments the last book I read was The prisoner of azkaban! Somehow I never got into reading harry potter books, while my brother read everything and we have all the books at home. Kind of embarrassed about that, so making up for it this summer reading ALL

Geanina-Alexandra (geaninaalexandra) That last book I read was Easy, by Tammara Webber. It was a very enjoyable book, about a girl having a hard time and getting her life back on track. I loved the little plot twist, the guy's background story and the way the author managed the rape situation. It is a light read, but not a happy kind of lecture in the sun (I teared up multiple times), but I definitely recommend it to everyone!

message 10: by Pocki (new)

Pocki Today I finished Siege & Storm by Leigh Bardugo. It's the second book in her Grisha trilogy and I loved it. Nt sure why. It just seems to be the wind of book I've always liked. It's fantasy but with a Russian touch rather than the classic sort of English Middle Ages. Doesn't change much though. The book had a bit of excitement, some love troubles, characters kicking ass and well, a war brewing. I'm really looking forward to the conclusion next year.

Tara'e Last book I read was Lucia, Lucia by Adriana.

I absolutely loved that book! One reason in particular it takes place in the '50's and I love a book that can take me back In time and let you see some insight of how things were then. You read about a girl Lucia's life and get a history lesson and cultural lesson that doesn't put you to sleep but make realize how things change. Your basically are reading about the very start of a modern era starting.

* I really like books that give some history or cultural aspect to it. I tend to focus on this sometimes this is not the main idea of the book.

Camila Romero r | 7 comments My last book was TFIOS and that brought me here. I'm very pleased that happen

message 13: by Molly (new)

Molly (mollymeaker) The last book I read was Wonder, I thought it was an okay book but it's definitely more for middle school. It is very much a John Green-esque book.

message 14: by April (new)

April S | 2 comments The last book I read was "Divergent" by Veronica Roth and its a YA dystopian

message 15: by ashley (new)

ashley (ashleywimble98) You Have Seven Messages by Stewart Lewis

I read You Have Seven Messages and I loved it. It's teen mystery with a bit romance.

message 16: by Skylar (new)

Skylar (nerdgirlsky) | 4 comments I finished The Book Thief recently. I loved it because of the era it was set in , also cause it was narrated by death.

message 17: by Grace (new)

Grace Worley | 3 comments I just finished the Divergent trilogy. It was absolutely one of the best trilogies I've read. Some people have compared it to the Hunger Games trilogy, but the only similarity I see is that they're both dystopian.

message 18: by Katja (new)

Katja | 3 comments Yesterday I finished Pandemonium, the second book in a trilogy written by Lauren Oliver. I really liked it, because it's a romantic, mostly unpredictable and exciting story. But the end left me way to desperate! I can't wait to read the last book (Requiem)....
