I need new book cover updated & 2nd edition paperback

Dear Goodreads Librarian group-

Hi, I'm the author/publisher of The Not So Secret Emails Of Coco Pinchard and I have a new cover image for the ebook, and 2nd edition paperback. I would like this please be added as the new default image for this title.

I also have the ISBN information for the Second Edition paperback. The details for this are as follows;

The first edition paperback has now been retired on CreateSpace, no new copies will be printed but it will still be available and sold by second hand book sellers.

Hi Ellie- thank you for this. This cover is for both e-book and paperback. The new cover should go live on amazon shortly, I have just uploaded it to KDP, the paperback will go live shortly too.

The ebook is already published, was originally published June 5th 2012 and the publishing date of the paperback will be today, 14th June.

And if you gonna have an e-book sold not on Amazon and with it's own ISBN number we have to add it as another edition. (we categorize as kindle only the editions with ASIN numbers)

P.S. Wool is surprisingly good. It seems to me most Dystopian literature coming out these days is targeting mainly teenagers (or the so called Young Adults) which I am not huge fan of, though some books are lovely reads I find them lacking in content and ideas and inclined to the romance genre more then I would like them to. I guess the state of the society is just a setting, not the main theme, so yeah ... Wool is pretty awesome. It makes me come with those crazy ideas and I just really have no idea what to expect. And he keeps killing all the characters. I like that!! :D

Even though I added the new, second edition of my book, the old cover still keeps popping up when I want to do a giveaway, etc. I added the new edition, new cover, etc., and thought everything was fine, but it still keeps happening. I made the new second edition the primary edition, but I must have done something wrong.

If you want an alternative cover edition (without ISBN to be listed) I would advise you to use the book ID. I "think" that is the number in the URL:

Thanks, Ellie. I did, but it wouldn't go through. The system won't accept the book ID or the ISBN, but I'm not sure why. It is just a second edition with added bonus material for book clubs.

If you are talking about the giveaway not being accepted then you need to contact GR support as per MSG 7. Librarians cannot do anything with giveaways and the books are correctly set up

I understand, and am sorry if I am at the wrong place, but I am talking about having the new cover and the second edition book come up as the primary edition. I combined the editions and chose the one I want as the primary edition, yet the old cover still keeps appearing on my author dashboard and when I tried to start a giveaway. That's the librarians, right?

No, because the giveaway requires an ISBN ( or other such number) to be on the edition, the alternate cover edition does not have an ISBN therefor you will not be able to use it without contacting GR support who can advise on a temp number to be used

Hi, I have my new novel coming out soon, and I'd like to change the book cover. I did try to delete the current one, but I couldn't. The book isn't published yet so doesn't have an ISBN. The dashboard I think shows you the most popular edition and only you can see it. Please contact support. I have no idea what else to suggestGood luck

Hi, I posted a new giveaway for my book, "The PureLights of Ohm Totem", and the old cover is still there. I was told it was changed to my new cover, which shows in my dashboard. The new cover has a completely different author's name. I wasn't allowed to choose the cover I wanted when posting the giveaway, so please help. :)

Rivka maybe you should lock the topic, cause they keep posting here. I really have no idea what to advise them.

Dear authors, Librarians are readers that volunteered to help improve GR database. We have limited access and absolutely NO access/control over goodreads authors profiles, giveaways or anything else. ALL we can do is read the help files and think of a reason what might be the problem, but nothing beyond that. [we do not see your dashboard and we cannot make any changes in profiles, giveaways, therefore we have no idea how those things work]

Posting here is futile. All I can say is that you can point out the correct book that will be send to the winners in the description of the give-away. [p.s. I didn't even know a give-away is limited to editions, I though it will be visible on all editions pages.]
