Yeah, that is true, though it is a large part the seasonal challenges that Cynthia does that makes me read outside my normal genres!

I never would have got that from the title or the number of posts in just one day... lol, just kidding! I am so excited to be a partof such a wild group!

Thanks for sending me the invite! I never would have found this awesome group without you!

Well, it didn't even exist before today... so you're welcome! :D

P.S. Thanks for the invite, Becky!

Hey guys! Glad to be a part of this group... keep up the good work Fiona!!
Thanks again... YA has always had a special place in my book-loving heart.

I like my TBR list to grow as I read new books. That way I have more books to choose from when starting a new challenge :)

I haven't read all of the comments in this thread yet, but I did notice that April asked for some Hitorical fiction YA. Ann Rinaldi is one of my favorite HF YA authors. My friend made me read a book by her in 8th grade (Time Enough for Drums, which is my favorite book by her!) and her books are what actually got me interested in HF. They are definitely worth checking out!!

Thanks!
Thinking back to other groups, people that I know, and the joking in the other posts, people talk about being "too old" to read YA... (Scoffs). My mom and I exchange book recommendations all the time. (Don't tell her I told you...!) but she is almost 50, and asks me all the time what I am reading. It's awesome!
I believe that there is no "age limit" on any book. It is merely what you, yourself can handle.

Well, some of you may know me, but for those who don't, I'm Sam. I love YA books, and would welcome reccommendations from anyone.

But inside I'm about 15! (Strokes have weird complications, sometimes, is all I can say.) This is not a bad thing, I think.

Right now I am hooked on Maria V. Snyder's fantasy novels and L.A. Meyer's Bloody Jack series.
