I have just finished reading The Daughter of Patience
by Hussin Alkheder . It is a whodunnit in Damascus Syria; not only it is very well written, the plot is very good but it also gives people an insight into what life is really like in the middle east.

I put off reading both the Hannah and Moyes books because I didn’t think a book about rural areas would hold much appeal, but I love both - especially The Great Alone!
