Tracy (torimom) Hi, my name is Tracy. I am from Toledo, Ohio. I am about to start reading from "The complete Novels of Jane Austen". I have a pretty good stack of classic literature I want to read that I did not read in High School. I've read Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibilities, and Persuasion this year. I enjoyed these so Im looking forward to reading Northanger Abbey.

Wendy Owen | 2 comments Good morning. My name is Wendy.

I have just finished 'The mistakes I made' by Paula Daly.

Although the main dilemma is based on a very well known film, Paula takes a very fresh approach to it with lots of twists that keep the storyline flowing.
This is the first book I have read by this author (picked up at the library) but it certainly won't be the last as I really enjoyed her down to earth style.

Hope that helps?

Ramona Wolter | 7 comments Currently reading an advanced readers' edition. The book is titled, "Saving Meghan." Author: D.J. Palmer. It is due out April 9, 2019. I am on page 59 so far. The book has gripped me from the beginning! Can't wait to finish reading it to see how the outcome is! It probably won't be what I expect either! Great author!

message 4372: by Virginia (new)

Virginia | 1 comments 'These Truths' - A history of the U.S. by historian Jill Lepore. It goes all the way through the last presidential election. A must read for anyone who wants to understand how we have reached this point, both in society and government. It's inclusive of women and minorities, unlike the history books I read in school, which truly is refreshing.
