I suppose it depends on what you are looking for, but it doesn't have to be overwhelming! The first book we read was a middle grade novel about a girl with dyslexia. This was still peppered with humor and great characters. The book we are reading now is a nonfiction book about the author's journey with bipolar disorder and her use of lithium (still peppered with humor) plus these are all informative insights into how people live, cope, and succeed in life with their own abilities and differences!
