message 3301: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Tams I recently finished The Cutting Season by Attica Locke. I set out wanting to like this, but I'm afraid I ended up disappointed, wondering where it ended, it could have had less in the body and more on the end for me.

I am half way through this one and am really enjoying it although i do have a friend who believes its exaggerated, no one can really remember what happened when they were that young.

arctic_bookwhore | 1 comments Timbuktu by Paul Auster

Timbuktu by Paul Auster. It takes me a while to read this since it is in English, which is not my native language and Austers English is beautiful but not the easiest thing in the world. It is about Mr Bones, a dog and his view of the world with his mentally ill owner Willy. Recommend!
