Its not the Tudors..but..
Marian, I have read THE TIME IN BETWEEN & loved it. Have not yet read any other books by that author. Guess I need to.
May,she has one other book,at least here in Canada..its called "The Heart Has Its Reasons" but its not historical fiction, but the writing is good:)What other historical fiction books do you like or have read and can recommend?
1. To kill a mockingbird by Harper Lee 2. Catcher in the rye by J.D Salinger
3. The little prince by Antoine Saint de Exupery
4. War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
5. ANYTHING by Malcolm Gladwell
Frankly, it is expensive to buy their ebook versions individually especially since they are timeless bestsellers. Good thing some sites offer them for free downloads. (You just have to be good in GOOGLING. Hehehe!) I found them here: http://ebookbundles.info/
I am totally engrossed in OBC's book selection, " LOVE WARRIOR". I am finding the book highly insightful, funny, and very relatable. I find myself revisiting the tapes I grew up with as a girl child. I was happy to find that, yet another woman ( Glennon) who had similar socialization. I have found this book wonderfully validating as a woman!
Keelie wrote: "I am reading Levi's Blue by M. Leighton and savoring every min of this beautiful book!!!"I am reading one of Jeffrey Archer's "Honor Among Thieves".
Finished
by Martha Hall Kelly-- 5 Stars.Fell in love with this Holocaust historical fiction book. I loved the three parallel storylines and at times had to put this down because I was horrified with the content.

I'm reading
"Veronica Decides to Die" by "Paulo Coelho". Really I love it and I think the English version much easier than the Arabic one, although the Arabic is my mother language !
Marian wrote: "I am also reading
and its caught my attention, thats for sure:)"I can't wait to read it !
I'm so unsure what to read next! I am behind on my buddy reads and I feel overwhelmed just trying to choose. LOL I am, however, starting
in audio version. I can listen while I make dinner and drive wherever. That's the only way I get my audio books done. LOL
I'm currently reading The Quest for Screen Time and A Time to Praise: A Christmas Anthology. Both are good reads. :)
'The Sharecropper's Son' by John V. Amodeo. Fictional history account of a young WWI draftee, James Hayes, from the Mississippi Delta who ends up on the Western Front in France during the height of the Argonne Offensive in 1918. He travels to Paris and becomes an instant celebrity when asked to sing at a local bistro. Tragic circumstances ensue when called back to his dying father. In this tale of hope and perseverance, the journey of James Hayes is a story that will resonate with history lovers. It is a story not only of hope and overcoming life's ultimate challenges but also a journey of a young man who found himself and, in turn, changed so many others.

Hi, my name's Majda and I'm currently reading the young adult fantasy romance novel called The Heir Of Fire which is the third book of Sarah J. Maas's series Throne Of Glass.
I'm currently reading My Life On The Road by Gloria Steinem, but because I struggle with non-fiction no matter how bad I want to read it, I'm also reading The Memory Book by Rowan Coleman.
Love Addicts Anonymous by JC Reed, it releases next month but I am doing an early review and am so loving it. He is a sex addict. He is about to fall in love with her.
LOVE ADDICTS ANONYMOUS is coming soon! ♥

I'm current reading A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson. It is funny, sad, scary, and poignant all rolled into one. I recommend this book to all fans of James Heriot or anyone else who wants a good read.

Mr. Fausto is a distinguished University Professor, an historian and he wrotes about his Jewish family mingling with the Brazilian history.
I am reading "A Tale for the Time Being" by Ruth Ozeki. It's unlike anything I've ever read before and I'm finding it very interesting.
Just finishing "The Red Circle" by Brandon Webb and a few chapters into Adam Grant's "Originals." @Rebecca... I loved Bill Bryson's "A walk in the Woods," and I'm reading his "Notes from a Small Island." It's also great.

The Beech TreeFrom the Freedom Rides to atrocities of Viet Nam POW camps, The Beech Tree weaves a compelling tale of love, loss and redemption. Tissues required. I would love to see this book as a movie.
May wrote: "Oh, Diane... I think I have just added this to my TR list!!"Definitely! Great book. I thought it was going to be a "summer romance" type book when my wife handed it to me after she'd read it. It's a very powerful read. There are lighthearted moments that make you laugh but just as many that will bring you to tears. The Beech Tree
I'm currently reading Fall 2016 Debut Fiction Sampler and recently finished

UnplannedParalyzedPoliced
I am currently reading Policed by Alana Terry, after reading Unplanned and Paralyzed in the same series. I have enjoyed all the books by Alana Terry. This writer has also done another series with Beloved Daughter, Flower Swallows, Slave Again and Torn Asunder. I have read all of these this year and enjoyed them.Charlene Carr also has a A New Start Series of Women's fiction Skinny Me, Where There is Life, By What We Love, Forever in My Heart, Whispers of Hope, and Before I Knew You. She also has a single called Beneath the Silence which is quite unique. All enjoyable fiction books which I read in the past year or two.
The Book of Negroes by Lawrence Hill is an amazing read - fiction but with a lot of true historical fact, as well.
I also enjoyed The Secret Daughter by Kelly Rimmer and She Can't Hide by Melinda Leigh.
I have read over 65 books so far this year and if I can remember the names, I consider them good books. :). There are a lot of writers which I like and have known for years like Mary Higgins Clark, Catherine Cookson and Maeve Binchy, but I have been just thinking of some of the newer ones as I have been trying to get to know more writers.
Zoe wrote: "I'm reading 'The Alchemist' by Paul Coelho. It's about a young boy's journey through life. It's a very good read."Yes, I have this one and want to read it too.
Hi all! My name is Maggie and I love reading just about anything. I'm currently finishing the Cormoran Strike mystery series by Robert Galbraith (pseudonym for J.K. Rowling). These books get their claws into you and will not let you go until you finish them! If you love mystery series, I suggest you look these up!
Hello everyone, my name is Shaikhah and currently I am readying "I have got your number" by Sophie Kinsella..I love her books because it is so funny.
The Rose Society by Marie Lu. Dark, twisted and has me begging for more. Lu really took a turn in her writing with the young elites series. Compared to Legend, this is completely different.
