Kevin wrote: "The Wealth Cure."I read and enjoyed that book! It was only a while after putting it down that I found I had been subsciously putting some of Hill Harper's advice into practice.
Finished Wahoo Rhapsody. Almost too complicated - too many characters - but it all comes together in the end, & that's the way I like them. A good read & I will definitely read the next one. Starting Orphan Train.

Interesting review. I have this out from the library & was going to return it without reading it because I had too many books that came in at the same time. But after reading your review, I think I'll read this one & skip one of the others! Cheers :)
Glad to hear that Anne. It's based on a true story-- which I think makes it that much more interesting...Can't wait to see what you think!

4 Stars!Just love this book! Listened to it on audio this time around, and fell in love again! Post WWII- Nazi occupied Guernsey comes to life through their letters to London author Juliet Ashton.

Finished "The Son." Not what I expected. Great writing, I suppose, but I couldn't engage with a single one of the characters. They were just unlikeable in one way or all ways. Am now reading a book with a lighter touch - "2AM at the Cat's Pajamas."
The Valley of Amazement by Amy Tan...bit slow so far; kind of reading like a "How to be a Chinese Courtesan for Dummies" manual....
I also loved Guernsey so much that I listened to it on audio 2 yrs after I read it and realized it was still one of my favorite books.
Finished
4 Stars!!Tris Prior starts up literally right where she ended in Divergent. The book races through and is action packed, leaving little time to interpret too much. Leading up to a surprising conclusion. Can't wait to get my hands on the third installment.

I'm now readi..."Hello Maya, Are you trying out the $9.99/month for unlimited Kindle books? If you are I would love to know your opinion of it. I'm wondering how limited the available books are. It would save me a lot of money if it is worth it, which would be great. Lynn
