I just came home from a cruise and when I would walk by the people sitting in the sun and reading, I would look at their books because I was curious. At least 10 people were reading this one!
I read it a while back and loved it - gave it 5 stars.

Thank you Angela! I didn't read as much as I thought I would but I did finish the 850 page 11/22/63 and then started All the Light We Cannot See. There are so many people and so many activities on a cruise that I didn't get as much reading time in as I thought I would. We spent 3 of the days wandering around in Bermuda so not as much sitting time as my usual vacations. It was fun but I don't think we would do this type of vacation again.
Both of those books were 5 star books for me .I'm glad you had a chance to relax anyway after the gala .

Thanks, it was nice to get away for a while. My work schedule will be different now as I am not going back to HHF but rather am going to start working on getting our franchise that we bought up and running.

I always buy my grandsons hardback books for Christmas. Hoping someone here will be able to answer a question I have. Are boys interested in reading books where the main character is male? Or are they open to a female lead character? When I was young, I read anything available to me, but am wondering if it is different with boys ages 11 and 13.
