It does sound pretty creepy based on your review.
Ellen wrote: "This is my first post on Oprah's book club. I am a psychotherapist and an author. I like books where character is an important aspect of the story, and all of Elizabeth Strout's books fit the bill...."Ellen we are on the same page (pun intended) when it comes to character driven plot. The fascinating part for me is to learn why characters do things not just that they do them.
I finished one last one yesterday The Score

I'm on the preview of 'Catfish Honeytrap' by Camren Walker (https://camrenwalkerbooks.com/). It's got me hooked to order it!
I was astounded by the team's technical skills, meticulousness, and commitment to achieving results. Their ability to navigate the intricate realm of cryptocurrency and cybercrime was extraordinary. The team's dedication to assisting victims of fraud and scams was evident in their relentless pursuit of justice against these criminals. Thanks to the outstanding services of DUNE NECTAR WEB EXPERT, I successfully recovered my stolen money and can now finally pursue my dream of establishing my own pastry business. I am eternally grateful for their support and would strongly recommend their services to anyone who has fallen prey to cryptocurrency scams or fraud. Their expertise and professionalism are unparalleled, and their commitment to combating cybercrime is genuinely admirable.

Part of my resolutions are to read 20 pages of a novel each day and 20 pages of a self-help book each day. I'm currently reading First Lie Wins and Let Them.
Christine wrote: "Has anyone read 'The Vegetarian' by Han Kang? I am 55 pages in and so disturbed! lol."Yes, I did read it. You are quite right that it is a disturbing book. However, I thought it was worth reading.
Hi,When it comes to romance, I love reading books by Kennedy Ryan and Beverly Jenkins. However, I'm more into thrillers; I enjoy books by Shari Lapena. Currently, I'm reading "The Perfect Marriage" by Jeneva Rose. I started to DNF the book, but then it picked up around chapter six!
I'm currently reading James Patterson's Black Book. (He says he thinks it's his best work in the past 20 years. I like it very much so far!)

The Twelve Tribes of Hattie was really good! Another two that I read this year..."
If you like a pirate romance give Treasured Chest BY Zrinka Jelica try.
Hi. I just finished an amazing book by Roisìn O'Donnell. Nesting It's about breaking free from an abusive partner and a broken Irish system that allows people to become homeless in a blink of an eye. Here's my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'm currently reading The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov. Super confusing, haha. Would be great if anyone would be willing to share their opinion/interpretation!
Really enjoyed
The Daughter by T.M. LoganTM Logan Here's my 5* review https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
You will not want to send your daughters to Uni after reading this!!
Have you ever read anything by Haruki Murakami ? Highly recommend! In terms of more recent releases, the best books I've read in the last couple of years have been:
More: A Memoir of Open Marriage
Everything I Know About Love
Not going to post it here, but I'd highly recommend my own newly released memoir as well ;p
Nifee wrote: "First Lie wins (follow me on IG @ wineandbooks_galore)"On my very soon to read list... did you like it??
Hi there! Collin here.I just recently came across a book that one of my students shared with me. The name of the book is "Mind Games" by Landon Prosser. Apparently this is an African-American author starting a series in the psychological thriller genre.
Mind Games
Landon Prosser
In a nutshell: In a home scarred by past trauma and haunted by a mind-bending villain who can twist memories, a mother and daughter stand on the brink of another battle—this time armed with an unbreakable bond and a secret power that may be their only chance at survival.
I think if you go to Kindle you can download it, but I think you can get it cheaper on other sites. If anyone else has read it, or reads it..... let me know your thoughts.
I'm about 1/3 of the way through Kristin Hannah's The Great Alone. I enjoyed Nightengale, and am enjoying this story as well. She may just be one of my new favorite authors!
The House In The Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune ( taking long to read it cause also reading some Batman comics )
