Glad you agree! And, we're not alone - another friend is of the same opinion. The rest of the book was so well done, it was a huge letdown at the end.

Funny enough Gone Girl is the only book of Gillian Flynn's I have NOT read. Simply because I watched the movie first.
I think her other books are excellent tho! Hopefully you can give her a second chance!

I previously read Sharp Objects and liked that a lot. She writes very well, but the ending of Gone Girl didn't live up to anything I had hoped for.

Enviro-Scapes (Exiled Elementals Series). This is book two of the series. The story keeps getting better and better. I'm staying up all night reading it :) There is an interesting love triangle being formed and battle scenes that are sensational. Great urban fantasy romance with some sci-fi feel to it.
