I just finished The Absinthe Earl and The Raven Lady by Sharon Lynn Fisher. I enjoyed the play of Irish mythology in the series. The setting, plot and characters were all incredibly gratifying. Can anybody recommend more books based on mythology (preferably Irish but others are okay too)? I have read Madeline Miller and Rick Riordan.
Hello,This is my mini-podcast about reading. I will be very happy if you take a look:

Finished "The Kind Worth Killing" by Peter Swanson. It was great. Plenty of twists and a very satisfying ending. Currently reading "Her Last Breath" by Dan Padavona. It is not so great. It's ok enough but just that. Ok enough. Very cookie cutter, garden variety, generic suspense novel.
"Revenge is often messy" sums up this one!

Hello, I have wrote a book for parents. It is not a promotion, I just wanna know it is an actual topic? I just have a reach experience and decided to share it through book. Interested could I find a new parents here.
Hey there! I don’t know if anyone’s read this memoir before but I’m currently reading “Breaking Night” the memoir by Liz Murray. I love the book so far but am confused with the ending of chapter 2. When she gets sent to the doctors why did she start bleeding? They don’t explain it very clearly so I may be just naive to what’s happening lol 😂. If anybody read this book and wants to help me better understand I would appreciate it!
Just finished 'In the Shadow of the Hanging Tree' by Michael McLellan. Was a 5-star read for me.

And now I've just started 'The Bell' by Iris Murdoch.
Currently working in Black Rednecks and White Liberals. As a white liberal, it’s a good, research based challenge to my views.

How does it do that?
Just finished "The Night Circus" by Erin Morgenstern. It was wonderful. Just started "The Other Side of Night" by Adam Hamdy. It's really good so far.
Britany, iI read WATERSHIP DOWN year ago. I was absolutely engaged in the book’s premise! Did you like t?
William wrote: "Yes Follett is always good."To whom are you replying? Nobody has mentioned Follett lately...
May wrote: "Britany, iI read WATERSHIP DOWN year ago. I was absolutely engaged in the book’s premise! Did you like t?"Yes, it was delightful and I honestly cannot believe it took me THIS long to finally get to it. Fiver was my favorite character. What about yours?
Britany, I have to admit that it has been so long since I read WATERSHIP DOWN that I don’t remember individual characters. I only remember the wonderful feeling it left me with.
Talking to High Monks in the Snow: An Asian-American Odyssey I wanted to read this because it talks about a Japanese-American girl whose parents were in the internment camps and goes back to Japan to meet relatives there. This books also addresses her being of Japanese descent and dealing with this in the western U.S. versus the eastern U.S.
Finding Me: A Memoir Viola Davis
The Personal Librarian by Marie Benedict & Victoria Christopher Murray. The dual authors made it easy for me to see JP Morgan's librarian from both sides of her life. Loving it.
I also read Marie Benedict's book about the wife of Winston Churchill. Fascinating to learn there was a wife.
