Hi Marianne, I have fixed the book for you:) Linked on the RHS under 'other editions' is the old book title, but I have left a message in the librarian group for someone with more expertise than me to fix that one! (It might be fixed by the time you go there!)

will look out for that film. When is Hunger Games being released as a film?

Maybe a week or so later for us Aussies.
They finished filming a few days ago.
Here is an image of Katniss and Gale. I am happy with it:

Must say though someone did a rough edit on the Amazon copy. A change all instruction changed the word 'four' to 'flour' so there are lots of references to, you guessed it, 'flour o'clock'. I hope someone has told Sam - he'd be horrified.
Just finished The Golden Compass. It was OK. I have had to read in little bits because of being so busy with other things, so maybe that made it seem slow, but otherwise a good book.

The visual aspect helps :P
So it's like the Dexter books then, first book and season the same, then whole different direction?
I'm sorry, I couldn't read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I got about 45 pages in, had already started skimming before then...so incredibly boring IMO, but I appreciate others love it.
I have started Vanish by Tess Gerritsen which is much more my cup of tea!

Yeah I’m one of the few that really like it. Not many of my friends actually managed to finish it…..they couldn’t get past Harry’s chapter. If you’re interested, I’ve just written something down in my review as to why I like it so much……It’s only very brief though :)

Liam Pennywell has spent most of his life dodging issues and skirting adventure when suddenly at 60, after two failed marriages and three adult children, he meets a younger woman.
A wonderful readable book. I loved the character of four year Jonah, Liam's grandson, who makes a brief appearance in the book.

That said, I'm putting it aside to read something else - in honour of BANNED BOOK WEEK, I have decided to read The Satanic Verses.
Finished Loyalty in Death review here http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Will start Fair Cop: Christine Nixon next.

I attempted The Satanic Versesa few years ago to find out what all the fuss had been about. I don't think I got past the first 2 chapters. Ho hum!
