Great review - loved how you delighted in the baddies ending :) When they're really bad you do like a satisfactory bad conclusion - LOL

I really liked the Libba Bray books, A Great and Terrible Beauty and The Sweet Far Thing. Sort of Fantasy/Adventure with women/girls as main characters.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments I have started reading Thinking About It Only Makes It Worse: And Other Lessons from Modern Life Thinking About It Only Makes It Worse And Other Lessons from Modern Life by David Mitchell . Since I got it out of the library on 23/12/14, my English-born hubby has been reading it. He has about 20 pages to go but I need to read it before it has to go back to the library.

Regina Am able to post my review now for The Girl in the Photograph by Kate Riordan

People who like Kate Morton may like this. A longish read at 400 pages, probably could have been better with less pages.

My favourite YA series is the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy by Laini Taylor
Daughter of Smoke and Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1) by Laini Taylor Daughter of Smoke and Bone
Days of Blood and Starlight (Daughter of Smoke and Bone, #2) by Laini Taylor Days of Blood and Starlight
Dreams of Gods and Monsters (Daughter of Smoke and Bone, #3) by Laini Taylor Dreams of Gods and Monsters

With an ebook only #2.5 Night of Cake & Puppets (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #2.5) by Laini Taylor Night of Cake & Puppets which is every bit as wonderful as the main books.
I am biased but I know you will love them.....

I only changed mine because I couldn't find the original one I used when I first joined - so I used a temporary one (little welsh cat) that I use for a trivea forum I belong to until I found this current one which I am happy with and will probably keep for a long time - bcause I am not into change :)

I DO like Brenda's little red book though - very swish!
