Co-author adding blog link

I am co-author of a book and it wont let me add our blog link as it 'has already been taken' by my co-author. How can co-authors both display their blog?

Does your blog offer both an Atom and an RSS feed?

I'm not sure. I'll go find out. I barely know what a RSS is and have never heard of 'Atom.' I'm assuming you are suggesting if the blog site allows both, then I use the atom link/feed? See what I can do. Thank you :)
