Help! can't remember the name of this book

I remember reading a book about a girl who has left the pack that she was living with because her father passed away. She is approached by her mate but then she runs away from him. She ends up falling ill and her mate catches up to her. He brings her back to the pack house and tries to persuade her to stay. She accepts after a couple of times to escape. She becomes the Luna of the pack and she and her mate are attacked. Her mate and her end up being able to stop the attacks.
Both her and her mate are werewolves, I think.


I am sorry that I can remember the characters' names because that would be very helpful probably. If anyone is able to figure out the name of the book or the author that would be very helpful.

Sounds like a possible Nikki Charles book...I may be wrong though.

I know for a fact that it is not in a series either. If someone could maybe give me a list of authors that write werewolf romance novels like Leah Brooke, Nikki Charles, and others. I know for a fact that the book did not contain any menages and that the alpha had a brother. The father of the girl was the doctor and the book starts off in a park where the girl is walking and it is night out.

I had some luck once when I was trying to remember a book by doing a keyword search in Listopia and skimming for a cover that looked familiar.

Is it Marked by Elisabeth Naughton. It was a freebie a few days ago. The first chapter concerns a girl who passes out in the parking lot of a bar. She is ill and her father is gone. The guy tracking her is attacked in the lot as he is trying to bring her back. The bar waitress comes to his rescue before the strange beings come back to attack again.
