Hello all, I joined this group a few days ago. I have been a bit of a voracious reader since I was a kid, and have recently discovered the blog reading challenges and whatnot.

My reading has taken a hit since having kids (9 and 6), and I now seem to read (out loud) a whole lot of kids' chapter books, which I don't add to my lists :) How many times do I want to list the same Horace Splattly book, really :)

The last couple years my number of books read has actually crept up, with 25 last year and up to 17, I think, already this year. But life (and exhaustion) continue to get in the way, which is OK, but you won't find me in any of the TNBBC challenges.

I like modern literature best, also classics and some history and other nonfiction. I look forward to finding more books to read in this group!
