If you had to save 1 character who passed away in the series who would you save?????
personally I have know idea
but this question was asked to me by one of my friends and I'd like to she what you guys think
xxxxx

I would save Prim, I couldn't believe she was dead at first, I had to go back and re-read to make sure I hadn't made a mistake. I have to admit I shed a tear or two, pretty sad for a guy huh?

Is this even a question.... FINNICK

prim

Gale, I know he didn't die but I would want his relationship with Katniss to be repaired even if they were "just friends"

Gale. I know he didn't really die, but he disappeared out of Katniss's life. If I had to pick someone who actually died, I'd pick Madge.

I completely agree that Finnick's death was pointless, even if it did add a little more of the reality off war to he book, so definitely Finnick's. but Prim and Cinna's deaths broke my heart into millions of tiny pieces.

Finnik, the rest can go to hell.

PRIM!!!

Finnick no questions asked. He and Annie were gonna have a baby like seriously Suzanne! What the freak! And if I had a second defiantly Cinna. No doubt.

I definitely think i would save Finnick.... his death just seemed the most pointless. we all knew Rue wasn't going to make it out of the arena (Im not hating on Rue, just stating that!:) and Prim's death was also sad... but Finnick was my favourite. Each to their own, though! :)

Prim. My second choice would be Rue, but she kind of had to die if Katniss was going to win. Prim didn't have to die. Neither did Rue, but you know what I mean...

Prim

Nothing changed the book if Finnick died. I would save Finninck, along with Wiress. She told (in a way) Katniss and the others how the arena was working.

RUE RUE RUE RUE RUE RUE RUE RUE RUE RUE RUE RUE RUE RUE RUE

ACTUALLY NEVER MIND PRIM PRIM PRIM PRIM PRIM

FINNICK!!!!! *ohh why did u have to die*
i was a *finnick fan* and agree with all u people out there who say his death was pointless COZ IT WAS!!!! when i read that part i was close to ripping the book in half! everyone else's death at least had meaning and inspired katniss to do something, while finnick....nothing, other than letting annie and his son grow up without him!
so i would DEFINITELY bring finninck back.

I think I would have saved Haymitch's wife/girlfriend (don't remember if they were married) because Haymitch could have helped some much more if she didn't die. And because I hate that he turned to drugs because of what the Capitol did to her. And because Haymitch is one of my favorite characters, so I would like to see his more happy personality throughout the books.

Finnick or Prim.

So many names come to mind, but I would have to go with Finnick. Not only had he been through so much, but so was his girlfriend, Annie. Annie is very fragile and I definitely worry about her mental state with losing Finnick. And on top of all that, his son will never know him. So, I think moreso for the child, I would definitely have to say Finnick!

Definitely Finnick.

I would save Snow, just to make his life bitter to the very end! HA HA!

But really, Finnick seemed so pointleslly dying. Maybe Katniss´ father would be nice save, would change everything. Peeta´s father would be a nice change, too.

"You can't just kill everyone! It ruined the book." -Oliviawantsjace

I agree. Killing off almost everyone makes me fell like the author didn't know what to do with or just didn't want to fool with these other characters.

I would save Finnick Odair. I don't know about others, but I feel as if he could have been saved.

I would say Cinna or Pollux's brother Castor.

PEETA. I know he didn't die, but his memories were taken from him, distorted. If you take a person's memories, you take away who they are. I would rather have Peeta be Peeta than save anyone's life.

(If it must be someone who died - Prim. Katniss just wanted to protect her, and she deserves something good in her life.)

I loved Prim and Cinna! Took a while to sink in that they had died.
When Rue died i wanted to cry it was so emotional
Finnick was nice but im not sure if his death effected me as much.

Okay, my answer will come off biased, hence my last name, but Finnick hands down. People say Prim but you have to realize she was the reason for it all, plus I dont really care too much for her. I mean if she didnt die, Coin wouldve rose to power and things would still be the same. As for Finnick, his survival would've added a great feeling, because then his son wouldn'thave to grow up in the conditions he did, and Annie would've become more stable. But MS COLLINS decides to be cruel and have him decapitated? like annie has already lost half her sanity because her district partner was beheaded, but putting the same image, but of her true love in her mind was super annoying. Finnick had more reason to fight. And honestly I wouldnt second guess giving up Katniss for him. He had THE worst life out of all the characters. He is forced into prostitution under an ultimatum, he loses one of very few people he loved, Annie is tortured, He has to put on a sex appeal for the public eye, he re-reaped into ANOTHER hunger games because of KATNISS, he is constantly sacrificing himself leading up to his graphic, uneccessary death. He treated Katniss like a sister and she ended up being the reason he dies. And she watches him die! She couldve taken her fire arrows and set those mutts on fire and get Finnick back to Annie. I wish he had never been cleared for battle. He has a son, he never gets to meet, and when he is constantly saving Katniss, she had never once jumped in front of a bullet for him. To me, Katniss was really selfish at times. And right when things begin to look up for Finnick he reaches his demise. Finnick was my most favorite character and his death really sickened me. I just tell myself he is still alive. And poor Annie, she has to raise a son on her own, knowing what Finnick did for the both of them. Finnick never even met him. Ugh, his death was unfair.

um, Finnick?.....Did I even NEED to say that????

Finnick or Prim, although Prim would have died anyway had Katniss not volunteered to go in her place, and if Katniss hadn't been through the Hunger Games, there would be no rebellion, and then more kids would have died, so I would say Finnick. I liked Cinna too, but his death was understandable. Rue's death was sad, but according to the Hunger Games rules, two victors were a huge stretch, so I would definately think that Finnick was the one person whose death was unnecessary.

Finnick. Pointless death....

Finnick!

Everyone here seems to opt for Finnick, Cinna, Prim or Rue.

Personally, I'm stuck between Prim and Mags.
I know we didn't really get to know Mags because she died so early after she was introduced in the book, and since she's already so old it would be pointless to save her because she'd just die after a few years, but of all the deaths, hers was the one I wept the most. I'm not sure why but she just seemed so innocent, such a brave self-sacrificing woman, it was hard not to love her.

Prim- She's so sweet and I love that she helps out everyone in any way she can, and her development from the first book to the third was incredible and she matured so much it just felt satisfying to know that this innocent, scared little girl ended up being one of the bravest character in the series, and she saved so many people's lives it was unbelievable.

Finnick. He's death had no purpose, for real. Maybe it was just Colling showing us that none of her character got a happy end.

Shaye Finnick is my pick. His character had suffered enough.

I would probably choose Prim, because her death made me BAWL!! i love finnick and all but......

Either Prim or Finnick...

Prim because her death was just pointless. It just happened in an instant...

Finnick because for Annie and of course to their child :)
