"Oh I b-believe it." Josh gave him a sly smile, and as soon as his back was turned, he jumped off the bed and onto his fiancée's back, wrapping his arms around his shoulders. "Bet it d-drove them crazy."

"Bet that drove them even crazier." Josh murmered, smirking as he clinged to his back for a few minutes, then dropped off onto the floor with a graceful thud. He couldn't say girls ever chased him, besides... Sam, but that was probably because he was so reserved.

Josh smiled widely and could hardly keep from laughing, instead letting it out in little bursts reminiscent of giggles, but not quite. "Sky," He finally said as they reached the door. "L-Let me down..."

Josh huffed and just let him hold him there for a few minutes. "Sk-ky, you're my l-life. I love you as if st...topping means d-death." He twisted his neck up and around to give him a kiss. "Now will you let me down?"

"I meant it." Josh smiled back, satisfied with his reaction, and taking the open door gratefully.

"You bet." Josh reached out, lacing his fingers with Skylar's as they walked. "F-For a big h...house it gets stuffy." Really, Josh just missed the sun. Sure, he had only been in the house for a day or two, but the morning had always been such a precious thing to him it was difficult to just lose all meaning to it at the drop of a hat.

Josh walked in silence, a goofy grin slowly fading from his face as they left the palace and it's grounds. He ran his thumb over Skylar's knuckles quietly, so glad to have him here with him. Back in California, he had a hard time believing he had been able to live in the apartment without him almost all the time. And always, maybe twenty minutes maximum, was he able to spend time with him as a human. Now he was drinking up every Skylar-ready moment he got. "Do... Do you think here's a g-god?" Josh suddenly asked, looking over at his finacée curiously. The thought had popped up out of nowhere.

Josh blushed furiously at his answer and put an arm around his waist to bring him closer. "You're a h-helpless romantic, you know th...that?" He wasn't complaining. "I guess if there is-is a god, that's the b-best reason to believe..."

"Mm, yeah?" Josh smiled warmly and rested his forehead against Skylar's silently as he gazed into the eyes he had come to love so much. "How in the h-hell did I f-find you?" He murmered wistfully, letting his hands slide down Skylar's biceps until he met his elbows. He held them gently, but it was enough to keep him close.

Josh sat down beside him, but kind of very close so he was nearly sitting on his lap - but not quite. "I don't b-believe you." He said, just for the sake of arguement.

Josh smirked. "Ah, w-well... You survived 200 years so far wi...without me already." But he smiled and kissed him back just as carefully. "I only got until s...six...sixt-teen without you, and I w-was ready to kick it."

"Again," Josh grinned. "Hopeless r-romatic." He picked up Skylar's left hand, and played with the engagement right on his finger, spinning the plain band over and over in new silence. Josh still wore his around a chain, but he supposed he could change that now. "... Maybe we sh-should get a dog."

Josh was quiet for a moment, then slowly nodded and shrugged. "Uh, yeah, why not? I m-mean..." He swallowed. "I think it would be nice... Un-Unless you don't want one." He looked up at Skylar to make sure.

"I just..." Josh shrugged, then seemed to blush a little in embarrassment. "I uh, I just k-kinda miss dogs, you know? It's like... There's a l-little part of me m-missing."

"Really?" Josh stared at him, then broke out into a grin. "That would... Th-That would..." Speechless, he grabbed Skylar and pulled him into a deep kiss. "That would be great."

[Celine☆]

"Then promise me you'll n-never leave?" Josh murmered into his shirt as he hugged him tightly. "This is the-the happiest I've ever been in my wh...whole life, and it's because of you. If you left..."

"I believe you." Josh murmered, swinging their hands quietly as they walked. "Wh-Where do you want to g-go?"

"Uhm," Josh thought about it. "I don't kn..know... Some place we can sit outside?" He suggested. Honestly, he hadn't been around enough to know the restraunts. He had kind of rushed to the house when they had first gotten there so he didn't have to face the night in public, and stayed there for a while afterwards even.

Of course, Josh didn't understand a word of it, but he didn't care. If anything, tht made him seem even more attractive (was that even possible?!). He held onto Skylar's forearm so he wouldn't get lost if he got distracted - which was known to happen.

Josh quietly looked around, taking in the exotically french atmosphere happily. It was so different from home, and that was good. When they got to the table, Josh reached forwards and pulled a chair out for Skylar first, wrapping his fingers around the black copperwork.

Josh gulped and made a little noise, and it surprisingly sounded very close to his whimper as a wolf. He stared at Skylar with wide brown eyes, uncertain if it was possible for a smile to be so hot. Apparently it was.

Josh sat down grarefully, and then stared at the menu blankly. "It..." He frowned. "It's a-all in french, hun..."

Josh blinked at him, and then took the menu when it was delivered with an apologetic smile. "Graçias." He murmered as he opened it carefully, obviously not knowing a spot of french.

Flipping through the menu with a frown of focus written across his face, Josh scrutinized the options. It might as well be in french. At least it had french names with english descriptions, which made it easier. "You ev...ever lived in France, Sky?" He asked, glancing up from the dinner menu to look across at his fiancée.

Josh watched him for a moment, a little concerned now. Had he hit a nerve? "Sky," He said in his quiet little voice. "You okay? D...Did I say something?" He asked, leaving his own menu abandoned on the table infront of him.

Josh flickered with a smile and nodded, kissing him back easily. "Okay," he said. "You j-just seemed a bit upset there for a m...moment."

He looked a little skeptical for a moment, hardly catching the flicker but hearing some of it left in his tone. "Uhm," he decided to drop it for now. "I have no c-clue... Anything but sn...snails." He smirked and looked over at Skylar. "What are you getting?"

Josh screwed up his nose. "Sal...S-Salibarry... Salb...iberry..." He struggled for a while, then sighed loudly. "They c-couldn't have chosen a ha...arder name." He closed his menu, then flipped it over to look at the very back page. Quiet for a moment, he wasn't really reading. "You sure you haven't l-lived in France?" Brown eyes quickly slid up to him from across the table.

((Sorry, I'm doing a presentation to finish school off. :P I got ten days... And I still have to survey like, 16 people. I'll be on and off))

Josh frowned, but his gaze didn't waver. "Sky," He said quietly. Now he was a little concerned, worried there was something bothering him. "You don't have to h-hide from me..."

Josh was staring at Skylar in an almost hurt way, then turned to glance at the waiter with a small frown. "Uh," He didn't know what he wanted. He wasn't even that hungry; which was weird. "U-Uh, same?" He said is almost like a question. He felt kinda guilty. He had given up on the french-english menu and instead had done other things with his mind.

Josh returned his attention to Skylar and watched him for a minute silently. "Do you tr...rust me?" He finally asked, needing to know now. What could he possibly be hiding that he didn't want Josh to know? What didn't he trust him with?

Josh slowly sighed, sitting back in his seat a little more. "It's f-fine, Sky," He murmered. "If... If it's that important, you d-d...don't have to tell me." But his tone, of course, implied he would very much like to know what it was. "I just... I see you get up-upset like that and I want to help you. I don't want you to ha-ave to h-hide from me."

Josh saw the expression on his face and gave in. He wasn't going to fight him. "Sky," He said quietly, a small, understanding, and tragically crooked smile on his face. He nudged Skylar's shoe with his own under the table to try and make him feel better. "'S okay."

Josh's smile widened momentarily and he kissed him back. "Yeah, I kn...know." He murmered, watching as Skylar buttered his bread. He shivered quietly in the new shadows and then reached out to rip an uneven piece off to pick at it absentmindedly.

"To be honest..." Josh smiled and took the jacket gratefully, pulling it on overtop his hoodie and doing it up. "After a...all the stuff we've d-done, I don't know if I will grow old." He paused, shivering once more. "I'm okay with that..." He would always be okay with that, as long as Skylar lived just as long.

((Lol really? Well I still have a couple more days to actually do my entire presentation, plus I need to analize data and put all in. I'm just developing my format right now. So a couple more days at least. ^.^ Am I driving you insane?))

Josh, who was kind of used to this, didn't put up a fight. Instead, he just grinned wider and then relaxed onto him, turning his head to kiss him back. "What's this f-for?" He murmered, a little smile still nestled on his face.

Josh looked at him and, unable to resist, kissed the corner of his mouth sweetly. "I'm not complaining." He said quietly, holding his hands together as they began to shake a little. He didn't even notice. "You're a g-good snuggler."

"When..." A thought that had been slowly sneaking around in his mind popped up again. "When are we g-going back to California?" He asked, letting his eyes close contentedly. He smiled warmly at the puppy dog comment and snuggled even closer to him.

Josh stopped. "Wh-What?" He looked at him with wide eyes. "You... You're serious? Sky," An unbelieving grin spread itself across his face. "You're serious."

Josh reached up and put two trembling hands on either side of his neck as he kissed him back, just as passionately. "That's a dream Skylar..."

Josh sighed through his nose, beginning to press up right against him when he suddenly stopped, trembling all over as he pulled away. It felt like... He shut his eyes tight in pain, fingers stiffening against Skylar's skin. "Sk-k-" He didn't get that far, however, before the pain began to subside, and his muscles relaxed back to normal.

"N-Nothing," He said, maybe a bit too quickly. "I... I just... I felt like I was going to..." He bit the inside of his lip hard as the pain hit him again. Josh grabbed the front of Skylar's shirt, then let it go all at once as it disappeared. Closing his eyes slowly, he let out a little breath. "I don't feel so great..."

He shook his head. "No," he said quietly. "I'm okay... I don't th-think I'm going to change, but I f...feel like it."

[Celine☆]

Josh nodded, taking a deep breath. "I know. I know." He murmered, as if to convince himself more than Skylar. "I'm s-sorry, I don't-" He stopped abruptly as his hands clenched, as if ready to change, but they relaxed before anything could happen. Josh stared at them, just as confused as he looked. "I don't know why this is happening."

Josh looked up at him from across the table, and then laughed, shaking his head as red began to creep into his face. "That's a good arguement," he said, giving him a couple points. "But you d-don't have to sleep with a w...wolf anymore. I don't... I don't think, anyway." He gave a small smile that was darkened by a hinting frown, and rolled his shoulder as it tensed up for a transformation that never came. Deciding to drop the topic, for a couple reasons, Josh looked off into the rest of the restraunt quietly.

Josh glanced back at him. "Nothing," He said, slowly. "Why?"

Josh smiled, and shrugged in return. "I'm okay." He said, in an unconsciously sweet way. "Thanks Sk...ky." The way he said it; it meant he was thankful in more than one way.

Josh raised an eyebrow and watched Skylar devour his food. Vaguely, he wondered if food tasted better now that he had to survive off of it instead of blood. Staring at his plate, he waited for a wave of pain to pass before eating a little.

((*jawdrop* YES.))

((DUN DUN DUN~! Maybe we should like, a double barrel finish. As in, since Josh's mum is more of a holy spirit, and Rospierre is a haunting ghost in limbo (not technically holy), he defeats her but then gets punished by being sent to Hell or something like that?))

Josh smiled quietly at Skylar, watching his reaction closely. "L-Like it?"
