Huckleberry Finn. I read it for a reading group in 1982 in Junior High school.

Gone With The Wind


Spartacus by Howard Fast in seventh grade, some fifty years ago.


The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I think I was 9.


The Hobbit (Middle-earth Universe) by J.R.R. Tolkien I was in the ninth grade and thought I was too cool to read... was I ever wrong!


Where the Red Fern Grows - I was about 11 years old.


Cherry Ames, Student Nurse: Book 1 - a gift following an appendectomy at age 11 - much influenced as went on to complete BSc/Nursing.


Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (310 pages) 2003 first got into it :)

Märchenmond by Wolfgang Hohlbein. I read it during first grade back in 1995.

That's a tough one. I've been an advid reader since I 1st learned how. Probably "Les Misérables" back in 4th grade.
