Manually adding a book

I am a new author and am trying to add my book but it appears that only Librarians can add books. Can someone help?

Everybody can add books to Goodreads, no librarian status is required to do so. You can have a go at it following this link:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/new

However, if you don't feel comfortable doing so, any librarian will be happy to add your book for you if you provide:

* Title
* Author(s) name(s)
* ISBN (or ASIN)
* Publisher
* Publication date
* Number of pages
* Format
* Description
* Edition language
* Link to cover on a NON-BOOKSELLER site, such as a publisher site, an author site, etc. No B&N or other bookseller links can be used as sources for covers or other book data, with the (recently-changed) exception of Amazon and its subsidiaries.
