TPBM loves both 'real' books and ebooks

Sandra (sanlema) I don't have an e-reader, but I think I'll always love touch and smell paper pages...

TPBM generally choses books as birthday presents for family and friends.

Sandra (sanlema) Yes. I like to read one book at a time, but always have a pile waiting for it turn.

TPBM tries not to read 3 books of the same genre/author in a row.

TPBM will be seeing some family members soon that they have not seen in a long time

TPBM avoids books with more than 500 pages.

TPBM does not like Fantasy books

TPBM has trouble keeping the to read list to a reasonable number (like under 50)

Sandra (sanlema) 99 right now after a great effort of being reasonable... I don't think it will last...

TPBM sometimes would like to need only 2 hours of sleep so he/she could read more at night

TPBM loves a rainy day, a fire in the fireplace, a good glass of wine and a new book

TPBM picked for this summer more books than he/she could realistically read.

Always! Even at 1-3 books a week, I'm always picking more than I can read! I'm still attempting to update my bookshelves with the 200 books I've read in the last 2 years! Sheesh!



TPBM is just as new as I am (joined the group this week)!

TPBM can't go near the library and not go in and check something out

TPBM when asked what they want for their birthday, usually say money but are really thinking BOOKS!

TPBM has stopped reading some authors as frequently when their books come out in hardcover first

Heather L  (wordtrix) Yes, there are many authors I've stopped buying because new books come out in hardcover. My biggest peeve is when publishers switch format from paperback to hardcover midseries. I know that's supposed to be good for the author, but it SUCKS for the reader.

TPBM is reading is reading something in the paranormal or fantasy genre(s).
