The Person Below Me - Part Deux
I don't have an e-reader, but I think I'll always love touch and smell paper pages...TPBM generally choses books as birthday presents for family and friends.
Nope - we are such eclectic readers that gift cards work betterTPBM always has a stack of books to be read
Yes. I like to read one book at a time, but always have a pile waiting for it turn.TPBM tries not to read 3 books of the same genre/author in a row.
Retired so in a way I'm on permanent vacation but I'm not going anywhere next weekTPBM will be seeing some family members soon that they have not seen in a long time
Sometimes, but some of my fav authors are wordy - for them I make an exception.TPBM does not like Fantasy books
Not usually my favorite genre, but if the story is good - the genre does not matter as much.... just no werewolves or vampiresTPBM has trouble keeping the to read list to a reasonable number (like under 50)
99 right now after a great effort of being reasonable... I don't think it will last...TPBM sometimes would like to need only 2 hours of sleep so he/she could read more at night
Either that or be independently wealthy so I could read all night and not have to be up at any particular time :)TPBM loves a rainy day, a fire in the fireplace, a good glass of wine and a new book

Always! Even at 1-3 books a week, I'm always picking more than I can read! I'm still attempting to update my bookshelves with the 200 books I've read in the last 2 years! Sheesh!

No, I have who knows how many series started and few are yet to be finished or even kept up with the latest book published in the seriesTPBM when asked what they want for their birthday, usually say money but are really thinking BOOKS!
YUP - I ask for gift card so I can buy books and music. It is what makes my world go around - oh and the Boston Globe sports pageTPBM has stopped reading some authors as frequently when their books come out in hardcover first
Yes, there are many authors I've stopped buying because new books come out in hardcover. My biggest peeve is when publishers switch format from paperback to hardcover midseries. I know that's supposed to be good for the author, but it SUCKS for the reader. TPBM is reading is reading something in the paranormal or fantasy genre(s).
No, I'm reading a Mystery. Into the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes. I had very high expectations for it but have yet to get absorbed in it :(TPBM Stops reading a book if it doesn't grab them in the first chapters...
nope - I won't scare you with how long it has been...TPBM likes to read nonfiction/biographies mostly
