message 1891: by Pamela (last edited Jul 24, 2016 11:51AM) (new)

Pamela Mclaren | 293 comments Tough question! I guess one of the things would be my hair trigger in response to someone who really needed gentler handling.

The other would likely be how we moved into this house without time to do some work on it. Like the off-white carpet with small children. We're playing catch up now 15 years later ...

Tell me two things that you remember from your childhood that are special.

message 1892: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 547 comments 1) Making and sharing the first thing I ever wrote - a comic book for my dad's birthday, starring me and him successfully surviving on a desert island after a plane crash.
2) My very first memory of my second oldest brother. We were picking him up at the airport; he was home from the Gulf War (yes I'm 29 aka a crone). I broke away from my family and sprinted at him when I caught sight of him leaving his terminal and leapt into his arms; he spun me around and held me tight, tears in his eyes, and said, "Hey little sis," which is the first thing he always says to me, even now.
