(Adorable answers Anne! I believed in borrowers, like in The Borrowers, and faeries.)It's basically a well-written soap opera and we all need that from time to time, plus the writer takes great care weaving accurate historical details into fictional events.

Tell me two things from the past, that you would handle differently if you could
Tough question! I guess one of the things would be my hair trigger in response to someone who really needed gentler handling. The other would likely be how we moved into this house without time to do some work on it. Like the off-white carpet with small children. We're playing catch up now 15 years later ...
Tell me two things that you remember from your childhood that are special.
1) Making and sharing the first thing I ever wrote - a comic book for my dad's birthday, starring me and him successfully surviving on a desert island after a plane crash.2) My very first memory of my second oldest brother. We were picking him up at the airport; he was home from the Gulf War (yes I'm 29 aka a crone). I broke away from my family and sprinted at him when I caught sight of him leaving his terminal and leapt into his arms; he spun me around and held me tight, tears in his eyes, and said, "Hey little sis," which is the first thing he always says to me, even now.
TM2 of your favorite birthday memories.
My favorite ice cream when I was a kid was peppermint, which wasn't always available in the stores, so on my 10th birthday (this was 50 years ago) my mom spent what seemed like hours mixing crushed peppermint bits into vanilla ice cream! Back when I was married, my husband got me a cat (a beautiful Tonkinese kitten)--and he had no great affinity for cats.
TM2 Life Lessons you have learned.
1) Being in love doesn't save your long-term relationship - you can be madly in love and still implode, and after you implode, that love may still be there, and may always be.2) Working hard and thinking positively isn't just an empty cliche - it works.
