You email your answer to the minichallenge email. You just look at it and figure out the title of the book and email it along with your name and team. :)

Rhonda, there is NO link, Rhonda. You just look at the pic and see if you recognize the bookcover. If you do, then mail it to ratminichallenges@gmail.com with Puzzle # in subject line.

You don't have to make a copy of the unscrambled bookcover. Just sent the name of the book and the author.

This one you will have to watch,

Hope they all don’t collide.
There are now eight to slide.

A little poem, to go public
With our first Round II Doublet.
We’ll start easy, and then get harder.
Still, gives you a “blinkie” with which to barter.

PUZZLE #35 - Doublet from "Bread to Toast"

Please DO NOT post solution here. Mail to ratminichallenges@gmail.com With Puzzle # in subject line. Be sure to tell me what Team you are assigned, though I have most of you memorized!

Doublets are word-link puzzles first created by Lewis Carroll. Changing only one letter at a time, and using the clues along the side, go from "bread" to "toast"... or vice versa!

From “bread” to “toast

- BREAD
- to separate into parts with suddenness or violence
- exposed and barren and often windswept
- wavering cry made by a sheep, goat, or calf
- made holy by religious rite; sanctify (past tense and a past participle)
- destructive wave of highly compressed air spreading outward from an explosion
- brag
- TOAST

Rhonda, you may start at the top or the bottom.

Changing only one letter at a time.

Using the clues along the side, go from "bread" to "toast."

You have to look word/synonym of explanations on the side that have one letter different from word above and below - example: toad --> load --> loan
