I hope you're finding the pastry,
Extremely very tasty.
Though cupcakes are the best,
Try finding some of the rest.
PUZZLE #53: ~ Pastries ~

Do this when you need a break from reading.

You have until the end of the 7% Solution Challenge.

You can submit it as a Team, or send your best player to collect your cupcake.

You are correct. The one thing the mods keep saying is that the value could change.

A third puzzle for a “bouncing” delight,
Spot the differences by moonlight.
It might be a little trouble,
Worth it though, for a book to count double.
PUZZLE #54 - Spot the Difference: “Hunting by Moonlight”

Please DO NOT post solution here. Mail to ratminichallenges@gmail.com with Puzzle # in subject line. Be sure to tell me what Team you are assigned, though I have most of you memorized!

For this puzzle there are at least eight (8) differences between the side-by-side pictures. They can be very, very subtle differences, such as high-light and shadow.
Third in series.

Look at all the "buddy reads" we're doing,
And there are several more brewing.
It is neat to check out the covers,
And talk about what one discovers.

PUZZLE #55: Jigsaw puzzle "June Buddy Reads" - here. Select "50 Piece Tri-Clip." Okay to post in thread.

Today on the Cupcake Spreadsheet I'll be a bit mute.
I'm going out to pick some fresh fruit.
Later tonight, when I get back.
I promise your updates I'll attack.

A “bouncing” cupcake puzzle, a fourth.
And your book total goes north.
A “chunkster” counts twice as much,
Which is really a nice touch.

Hey, that rhymes! Captain Cupcake would be proud of me, I think. (At least it doesn't stink.)

Oh, drat! I guess it doesn't rhyme if it is the exact same word. **sigh**

You'll start off with "elope,"
and end in the city of sin.
No need for a priest or pope,
We're sure a cupcake you'll win!

PUZZLE #57 - Doublet from “Elope to Vegas”

Please DO NOT post solution here. Mail to ratminichallenges@gmail.com With Puzzle # in subject line. Be sure to tell me what Team you are assigned, though I have most of you memorized!

Doublets are word-link puzzles first created by Lewis Carroll. Changing only one letter at a time, and using the clues along the side, go from “elope” to “Vegas”... or vice versa!

- ELOPE
- surface of which one end or side is at a higher level than another
- spill or flow over the edge of a container**
- sound or series of sounds made by a horse's hooves on a hard surface**
- cage or pen for poultry**
- play (music) as an accompaniment, esp. in jazz or blues**
- arrive at a specified place**
- rounded vault forming the roof of a building or structure, typically with a circular base**
- ten-cent coins
- plural of a man of great wealth
- plural of a famous female opera singer
- members of a class of benevolent divine beings in the Vedic period
- to remove gas from (an electron tube)
- VEGAS
**3rd person singular present
