You can judge 90 percent of people’s personalities by their shoes, researchers say
For example, "practical and functional" shoes were generally worn by more "agreeable" people, while ankle boots were more closely aligned with "aggressive" personalities.
The strangest of all may be that those who wore "uncomfortable looking" shoes tend to have "calm" personalities.

Ha! It is true, LG is really a 65 year old man!
NO!!!!!
Ha. I see men wearing these casual slides with socks all the time and I'm like, WHY? I don't wear socks in the summer, ever. These are going to be my around-the-house slippers. I used to buy my massage sandals from an Australian company, but they don't make them anymore. :( I'm worried that the massage spikes on these aren't as tall as the Australian ones. Still, it's better than nothing. My feet need to be massaged, like, constantly.

I'll be interested to hear how you like them. Some people (who have never worn massage sandals) have found them painful and said they took awhile to break in. I never found that. They always felt like heaven on my feet. Any day where I didn't spend at least a few hours wearing the spiky insoles, my insteps were really sore.

those bastards hurt! I'm using them to get to the pool, maybe I'll get used to them? Or the neuropathy is exaggerating the sharpness of the spikes.

Well picked up Cheri! They come in blue, tan and maroon.

I don't get it . Please 'splain it to me.

I prefer barefoot or flip flops. My hairdresser (Chinese & Vietnamese) says I must be Asian at heart, because I will wear flip flops in the snow. I can't always do that with an office type job, so I often wear flops or comfy shoes and keep a cute pair of less comfortable flats under my desk just in case a client comes in.
My feet get hot.
My feet get hot.

I miss my $10 Old Navy flip flops already.
I sometimes get a heel bruise on my left foot for some reason. I found the squidgiest flip flops ever!

I have come to the conclusion that shoes have an "expiration date": some shoes can last a whole day at my feet, others 4 hours, others 2, etc.. This is the criteria I use when choosing what to wear.
Argh! I wish I wasn't so keen on pretty things!

What the bike rider said after 200 miles?
I'll take "Aches and Pains" for $400 please, Alex.

Evie, put some moleskin on your heels until you break them in.

Is that a type of bandaid?
Um, it's sticky on one side and kind of fizzy on the other. It should be in foot care sections, or for sure anywhere you can buy hiking gear.

I'll hobble to the pharmacy and see what they have. Regular bandaids do not do the job.
No, this is actually sticky all on the one side, so it adheres to your skin completely. Hikers use it to keep from getting "hot spots" that cause blisters. I once tried to just super glue it inside my shoe...I don't recommend this course of action. I had to throw those shoes away. The super glue causes sharp edges - MUCH worse than a stiff backing!
