But why did Kronos attack while he was still weak/vulnerable, instead of waiting just a little longer (even a few minutes would've done it, considering what a close call Percy, Annabeth, and Luke made) until he was invincible?
Sure, there are plenty of impatient villains.
But I would've thought that the god of time would've had just a teensie bit more tolerance for waiting. Considering that he waited for millennia already and waiting is practically his domain.
