Why was Kronos so impatient if he was the God of Time?

So apparently, after possessing Luke, he would've eventually burned away his mortal shell and become immortal after a certain period of time. Cool.

But why did Kronos attack while he was still weak/vulnerable, instead of waiting just a little longer (even a few minutes would've done it, considering what a close call Percy, Annabeth, and Luke made) until he was invincible?

Sure, there are plenty of impatient villains.
But I would've thought that the god of time would've had just a teensie bit more tolerance for waiting. Considering that he waited for millennia already and waiting is practically his domain.

Alex Grant Because I guess he already waited for millennia like you said.He dosen't want to wait any longer.

If you can wait for millennia, you can certainly wait another few minutes or hours.

Akash Kulgod Typhoon may have got bored.
Luke may have commited suicide.

How did I know it was your topic?

Lambert Luong Kronos is impatient because he want to destroy Olympus to weaken the gods. he could have waited for Typhoon they could have won or he could have speed time for him to come faster. Also he wait so long to plot against the gods that he get tried of have to wait in a pit just to get his own Revenge again his sons and daughters including Zeus's children. He could wait a bit more to crush them entirely.

Exactly.

Seriously, when the protagonists only win because the enemy is a flipping moron, it pisses me off.

Celestina Then how would Percy and Annabeth save the day then. You have to remember that this is a junior book. If they take forever to savet the world then the kids would get bord. And maybe he was to weak to slow down time more then what he was doing. Even gods can get tired, some things are still out of their reach. All he did was make it hard for them to move and that could have been the best he could do.

Evelin Titan not god

Katherine E-J Hahaha! I love the title of this conversation. It says it all!
You can never know the reasons behind someone's impatience unless its spelled out for you. I think @Lambert explained it pretty well.
