this might be a silly question - okie so for the charrie template, are we allowed to "jazz" it up a little? like add one gif or borders? or just stick to plain and simple?

Some extra GIFs or pictures aren't a problem... it's the numerous song lyrics/quotes/shenanigans I'm trying not to encounter.

Are we constricted to the list of powers given in power distribution, or may we make our own at the approval of a moderator?

If you wish to use a power that is not on the list, discuss it on the "Distribution Of Powers" with Jayla and if it's not far out there, I'm sure she'll add it to the list/allow its use.

Oh, and from the stand point of the nobles would it be a good thing to have a child with an ability because it would raise their social status when they joined the red guard? I mean, how would that work in this social system?

Red guard? xD

It would boost the social status depending on what the ability was and how the one possessing it choose to use it. If they intend to join the guard, it wouldn't hurt them in the social regard.

Considering most of the high society is the guard, it would certainly be beneficial to social status to join.

I'm not sure if I really answered the question--vagueness seems to be my specialty today.

What would an artist fall under in terms of social standing? Like would he be a craftsman or something else? Also >.>" may I create an intellect?

Also...Can Grace Family characters have any abilities? Since it's "frowned upon"?

Okay, I want to make a character whose parents are both from the Royal Guard and has been brought up in that environment his whole life and became a high ranked member of the Royal Guard himself, he'll be a person of strong character who believes that he is doing the right thing because that was what he has been around his whole life.

It would be up to the parents to decide the betrothal of their child; however, the whore-ness of his personality would be decided by the girls he'd be able to entrance.

Not necessarily. I doubt he'd be able to entrance anyone just because of the likes of the society. Arranged marriages are kind of the only way things work--though some parents are more lenient than others.

Or can they join sooner?
How young can they be recruited?
Let's say there is an orphan boy on the street, but because of his ability they recruited him off the streets?
Let's say that he was stealing food and stuff to survive and then was caught in the act by some guards and then due to his ability he was able to take down two of the guards(his ability being enhanced agility which make them a born with skills made for combat) who weren't expecting it and then the third guard took him down and then recruited him to the Royal Guard?
The Royal Guard dude could have effectively became his "adoptive-father"?
Which would make him a very loyal member of the Royal Guard by the time he was nineteen...

[Question] (: So, for Character Creation it says that our character genders should be even, does that mean that we are to make two characters, one being a boy and one being a girl, or does that just mean you can make one character and count the number of boys and girls and base it off of that?
