I loved this book.I still don't know if I really like Lucas. And I don't know if I would want Kylie to do with him. Derek on the other hand I really like him. I would love for Kylie to end up with him. To me he would be better. I love her roommates Della and Miranda. I would so be friends with them. So over all I enjoyed this book. I can't wait to read the last book

I'm so glad I read this one after listening to the first in the series and being a bit disappointed. I think I need to go back and read Something About You because I really enjoyed this one. The dialogue between Nick and Jordan is great. The speed and wit of their banter reminds me of my favorite 30s & 40s romantic comedies like His Girl Friday. The thing I love about Julie James's heroines is that they're strong, smart and professional. Nick is a perfect hero for Jordan, also being strong, smart, professional and wicked sexy too. I loved their sarcastic exchanges and how declaring their love didn't make them turn all mushy, it wouldn't have fit their characters. I'm really looking forward to the next one with Jordan's brother Kyle, the Twitter terrorist, as the hero.

Bookshelf: Boyfriends
Review: This was a good story about Avery's struggle, her running and finding the strength to face her past.
She was a college student who moved as far away from home so she can escape some pain, but finding love and being unable to fully trust created a barrier between her and Cameron. It was so refreshing to see a guy with that much patience and goodness. Bravo to his family.
Avery's family was the worst! Her mother belongs in jail! I hope this book has a sequel.

So I fibbed when I said I was going to do everything last night. Sorry. I went to see a screening of Man of Steel last night. Mmmmm Henry Cavill.

From the minute we met Woods in Fallen Too Far I was intrigued. I was hoping that at some point we'd learn more about him, but I never thought we'd get a spin-off with him as the main character. I was so excited when Twisted Perfection came out that I bought it immediately and then preceded to wait to read it because knowing Abbi Glines I figured I'd want book 2 in my hot little hands before I could read it.
The ending of this isn't a major cliffhanger that leaves the reader heartbroken or anything which is great. We learn a lot about Woods and his family and everything that his life revolves around. Della is the perfect match for Woods. I love what meeting her does to him and I love them together. Super, duper hot and sweet.
I cannot wait for more of Woods and Della and I loved seeing bits of them in Forever Too Far, the final book in Blair and Rush's series. When is Simple Perfection out again?

Just an update as to where we are on our shelves. We are one away from getting the stamp for Book Boyfriends and two away from getting the stamp for Free Space. New shelf will be announced tomorrow afternoon.
We are doing amazing!!

I love Richelle Mead and this series! I was slightly disappointed in this book overall. It started out kind of slow with but it finally picked up and drew me in. However the back and forth between Dorian and Kiyo drives me nuts.

One of my favorite series. I could reread this over and over again. I love love Jace. I can't wait for the movie and I hope this it is as good as the book. I really like Clary as a heroin. I like she doesn't need anyone to save her like a lot of female characters in books.

Review & Rating: 3-stars. I read this book looking for that emotion that BDB evoked since I heard this book was a rip off. I figured that I love the Midnight Breeds despite that initially cringing at the similarities. Since I got over those issues by book 2 of Lara Adrian's series, I just have to get past book 1 of this series and I have.
With that said, I didn't like Myst and I didn't feel that connection between her and Bastien. In fact, I didn't feel the brotherhoods love and loyalty. It felt more like homies and not like something deeper. I bought books 2&3, but I will read them instead of going audio.

Since I need to post this for BSB I'm going to stay completely spoiler free. So what I will say is that the last few pages of Tangle of Need made me anticipate this book so much I really couldn't wait. I can't even tell you when I last pre-ordered a kindle book (why bother, they come right when you pay). But I had this one queued up and ready to go as soon as I opened my eyes on Tuesday. I stayed completely spoiler free and stayed off the internet pretty the whole time I was reading it.
So, did it live up to the hype? I can see where some would say no, but for me it did entirely. I think it's one of the most romantic pairings of this series. Their story can't be looked at through the prism of reality, in reality if you know a man like that run, run far and fast away, but in this world, for this couple, the story is beautiful. They have so many "little moments" that took my breath away.
One of the best parts of this series is also the overarching storyline. I think more time was spent focused on the main couple here but big changes were promised and big changes came. I think I read the epilogue about 5 times. I kept putting it down and then picking it back up to re-read. I suppose that means I'll be pre-ordering the next one as well.
