I'm enjoying this book very much. The writing style is simply delicious, making you want to relish the sentences and devour entire chapters on a single reading without missing a paragraph or page. The story draws you in and transports you right into his world. Loving it.

Reminds me a bit of early herman hesse.
I wouldn't go as far as saying it's a must read, just an acceptable read. I was a little disappointed expecting a book full of depth, it isn't. It's an adventure book but apart from detailing the practicalities of life and drinking, the writer didn't have that much to say about this fairly extraordinary experience. The venture is admirable and inspiring, the writing is fair, but I was really expecting more?
