I'm either going to Paris for the weekend or celebrating my sister-in-law's 30th... If I do the decent thing and go to the sister-in-law's I may be able to make it :)
Would have loved to go, but I have a stay and play golf break booked that weekend. :(

I would love to come. I'd like to volunteer as well, but I'm not a 100 % sure what you'd like me to do!!! Will we be expected to do a little presentation? (i.e. drone on and on about my books until you drag me off the podium??? ;-P )

I've just looked at Biggleswade on wiki but am not impressed by the paucity of information - it doesn't mention Simon in the list of notable residents or the Pheasant under leisure or culture....

There's no culture in bwade. Well, school breaks up on June 20 next year so I suppose we could set a VERY tentative date of June 28 2014.

Oh lord... except that I said yes to the first date. Which is 22nd June, not the second one... and any time in the school holidays I'm being Mumzilla and there's not much chance, although Saturdays are usually good when we don't have anyone coming and McOther is off work and willing. I can do the first weekend in August but any others are tricky.Cheers

Brilliant. It's the day after McOther will have been to London, had a massive boozy lunch and got slammed - always makes me nervous because it's the only time he ever turns his phone off and he never remembers to turn it on again... so I assume that he's dead, until he arrives home. Phnark.What I'm saying in a roundabout way is that I'll have plenty of leverage. So an e-mail on the way to McOther to check the date now.
