The group has been approached by author Adina West for a Read 4 Review of her book serial Dark Child: Episodes 1-3.

Dark Child was released beginning 1st February this year as a serialised novel in five episodes. The concluding part, Dark Child: Episode 5, will be released 1 June, together with Dark Child: Omnibus edition, and we're so glad this R4R has come at the perfect time to share this great new series with you.

The author will be giving out 15 sets of copies in mobi and epub formats via email. To request, please post your email address AND the format you would like. Interested in what you think after reading the rest, Sarah. My publisher made a very good case for breaking the novel up for serialisation but it was still a very hard decision. I'm glad any new readers will get to read the whole thing in one go after 1 June. No waiting! :-)

My publisher made that comparison, though others have compared to Kelley Armstrong's Otherworld series and Tara Moss's Pandora English series. Would love to hear your take on where you think it slots in. :-)

There's been a few reviewers that I've deleted their requests from off here. Some are behind, but have requested extensions on those and well, until you have completed them you are on hold for new ones. Some never completed previously requested R4R's so..well..you know the rules.

If any of you are registered for NetGalley please be aware the full Omnibus version of this title is listed there (for those who haven't heard of NetGalley it's a dedicated service for book bloggers and others in the book recommendation community to register and request complimentary review copies of titles.)

Failing that, YES, I recommend you go out and get Episode 1 which is currently free on promotion and have a read to see if you like it! Episode 1 is novella length, so you get over 20,000 words (I think 7 chapters) for free. The Dark Child Omnibus (all 5 episodes recombined into one novel) will be available from 1 June and is on a pre-order price promotion of $4.99 at the moment from most retailers (eg Amazon, iBookstore...)

Ok, well just so u know, the 1st book has been finished for 2 days, the 2nd is at 50% & I'll probably be done with today or tomorrow and 3rd no more than 2-3 days. Was just waiting for answers that I thought The Cover Countessa sounded like she was going to give on my ?s about reviewing on my Kindle. But I didn't hear back. I keep chking. I'm chasing up today to confirm whether these have gone out (they're being sent to you directly from my publisher so unfortunately I'm not in control of the timing).
