Anyone Else Excited For The Vampire Academy movie?

I'm not really happy with the casting they did, but that doesn't mean I'm not excited for the movie to come out. I really want to see the chemistry between the actors who play Rose and Dimitri, and I can't wait to see Christian on the big screen!
Same! I hope that the guy that plays Christian plays a little like Zero from Vampire Knight. They display some characstics. :)

I was surprised to see Gabriel Byrne and Jolie Richards sign on. I've never heard of most of the other cast.

There is the cast so far! Also @Ayah, Zoey is actually the "mean" main girl, "Emily Asher," in Beautiful Creatures, not Lena who is the main character.
I am not really into Zoey being Rose, unless she is able to gain a little weight and more toned then yeah she could probably be Rose. I just feel like Rose's character should intimidate me lol, Zoey Deutch does not lol. I like that Sarah Hyland is going to be in the movie, that's cool. Richardson seems queenly enough lol, Gayle, just dye her hair blonde and she could be Mia. All the other cast seem to be respective in how I would see them.

Oh no your not. You arent the first to think that, a lot of other people seem to confuse her and the girl who plays Lena. You made me doubt myself lol, I had to look it up to make sure.
i havent seen BC yet cause im waiting till i finish the book first and ages ago i looked up Zoe and saw she was in BC then when i was reading it assumd it was Lena lol

If she tans A LOT I might not feel as bothered, her body type is like a moroi, not like dhampirs, except for Guardians moreso since she's training. I hope she's at least a good actress and can play Rose well

some of the cast i didnt think repersented the characters , eg dimitri was gorgeuos i thought he was more gorgeuos than the actor repersenting him no offense thou but i seriuosly cant wait till next year

I cannot for the life of me believe I did not know about this movie until yesterday!!!! When was it announced that it was being made? I have loved this series for forever, and I just don't understand how I didn't know! *sniff* This fangirl doesn't understand...But now that I know, I'M SO EXCITED! CAN'T WAIT!

I think they should recast Dimitri as Ben Barnes, he's PERFECT, and Danila Kozlovsky doesn't look tall or hot enough he's just tooo average and probably not good in a fight. My heart is set on Ben Barnes but I don't even like Dimitri, he's soo boring and a jerk to Mr.Ivashkov, Adrian is by far the greatest paper person ever created good thing they have more time so they can get him right
I am! This is the first time that a book I've loved is being turned into a movie. Defining moment in a reader's life, I know. Of course the movies are almost never as good as the books but I guess they're not supposed to be. I just hope they don't bomb it.

Well, at least with Danila Kozlovsky you get the Russian accent and stuff.... And I completely agree about Adrian!!

I can't wait for the movie to come out. I'm almost fell out of my set when I found out that they were making a movie for vampire academy. Danila Kozlovsky wasn't my image of Dimitri, neither was Ben Bares. But Danila Kozlovsky was closer. Zoey Deutch was NOTHING like my image of Rose.

Okay I'll admit I am excited. It will be cool seeing a series I loved so much as a teenager turned into a movie series. Hopefully the actors play their characters right. To fans, who is your personal dream cast for the movie adaption?

FINALLY!!! I've been waiting for that. As soon as I finished the series, I even googled if there was going to be a movie on it and most of the links said maybe.Can't wait to see it. I really wish Ben Barnes was playing Dimitri, but I'll still watch the movie. Can't wait!
