I couldn't find the book cover when I looked in the add book/author or the This topic is about fields.

I am SOOOOO excited for this book! I only got it so that I could get to eventually because I love the cover! LOL

When you can't find the book, go to the book on GR and copy the ISBN number in black, the one before the parentheses and then paste it into the little box where you normally put the book title.

Ok I tried it in the This topic is about field and it didn't work. It worked in the add book/author field though, that's really weird. I've tried title and author and looked through all the pages and still can't find it.

Ok Ladies, I got my copy off my bookshelf. I have a paperback version..... I have 422 pages of actual novel, and 134 chapters (some are only 1 or 2 pages long). I also have a discussion guide in the back, lol.

How do you guys want to divide up our check points?

I want to have the option of reading it and having it done by Sunday night, so that's 5 reading days. If that's all right with everyone else we could divide the pages by 5 and end at a natural break each day. But I think that anyone who wants or needs to finish it quicker should also have that option. I am trying to catch up on not only some buddy readings but also some Net Galley books. Lol

I like it a lot. I'm trying to decide if the girl on the cover is Max or Angel, and if her hair is blue or if that is just the light. LOL

I have the pretty cover. LOL Actually, I have two covers. LOL If I have it on my NOOK home page, it's the same cover as Becky's. If I open the book up, the cover is the same as Kathy's. Go figure.

Okay, so 27 chapters per day

Wednesday: Ch. 1-27
Thursday: Ch. 28-55
Friday: Ch. 56-82
Saturday: Ch. 83-109
Sunday: Ch. 110-134

Does that sound right? There are anywhere from around 60-76 pages per day.

Okay, this only covers the first couple of chapters. The Prologue had me going. I like how the (view spoiler)[ dream (hide spoiler)] introduced their world. I had no idea that this book was about (view spoiler)[kids on their own with no adults in it to guide them. I can't even imagine, and Max is only 14 and the oldest? (hide spoiler)] My. oh my!

I adore all of their names, and I love the way Max describes them all, too. Their ages are given, which I really like because it will help me understand their actions/choices, etc. I LOVE Gasman...haha! I wonder if Gasman and Angel's (view spoiler)[ part in this story will be any different due to the fact that they are siblings. I hope neither of them die. (hide spoiler)] I am so already in to this book!

I am also loving it so far. Im only like 30 pages in but im hooked. I stayed home from work with a migraine so I've been sleeping most if the morning... hope to get more pages in soon!

I think one reason I love this story so much even though some of the "events" are disturbing (most of them), is the ages of these kids. I know how difficult it is at times to think in emergency situations, and poor (view spoiler)[Max must be so overwhelmed! I was afraid that Angel would get hurt or killed or something because Max has such a special relationship with her. Angel is SO young and now she's at The School, in a cage, and they've just come to take her away. I am so glad she reads thoughts! (hide spoiler)] Maybe that will help her in this situation. I sure do hope so.

Vicki I've gotten to page 72, Chapter 23 is next. (view spoiler)[ Max just got shot by those bullies and now I'm SUPER worried about how she will meet up with Nudge and Fang. How will they save Angel? How long can she last??? UGH! (hide spoiler)]

I'm back girls! I had two appointments today! The dentist and the doctor...ugh. LOL

I finished the reading, too, and I agree that it'll be hard not to read more. But I have to read other books so I'll try to be good! I am worried about (view spoiler)[ all of them at this point. Of course, we know that Max has to be all right because she's in all the books as far as I know. I was laughing when Nudge couldn't talk when the hawks were staring at them. That's really hard for the Nudge Channel. LOL And when Fang told her that Max wouldn't let Angel go and to notice how the one hawk moved one wing faster and that they should try it. Then Nudge said that was the longest speech he'd ever given. LOL My heart REALLY goes out to Angel because she is SO young and she is alone! (hide spoiler)]

Yea, and you have to physically go somewhere and take money out of your purse to buy it, BUT the freebies are so cool! I've gotten so many good books that way, but I have to admit that I have literally spent a fortune! I do have good logical reasoning though. When I retire I'll have plenty to read, I won't have to buy books and I'll have less money to do so, plus I'll still be able to get free books all the time. I love my NOOK! But now I want a Kindle, too! hahahah! Seriously!

OH, and as my eyes grow older and it's harder to read (as it is already lol) I will be able to increase the font size to where I need it to be. I got a new flat screen TV, washer and dryer, and refrigerator all for the same type of reason. I'll be retiring within 2-4 year, so I am ready! LOL

That sounds nice to retire in a couple of years and not have to worry about work and read all day!! I'm jealous! lol :P

I want a Kindle too!! So I can read books from it that I can't read on my nook! Otherwise I have to read it from my phone and it's so small compared to my nook! lol :)

haha that's what I do too...funny thing though is my reading seems to go faster on it. LOL Lord have mercy. We need TWO ebooks, PLUS our paperbacks. We are two crazy gals!

I have 5 kids and 19 grandkids, so not too sure I'll just read all day. LOL But it sounds heavenly, doesn't it?
