In this folder is where you guys can create topics for your 2013 reading challenge. You can talk about some of the books you have read, and leave a link to your review. We would love to here your thoughts about books you have read this year! If you need help createing a topic, please don't be afraid to ask a moderator!

Dang! I was hoping there really was an A-Z challenge, with an important dystopic book for each letter of the alphabet... Silly me!

THAT is a GREAT idea. I'm not sure there would be much participating members though. What do you think?

I'd do it... though we'd probably have to add short stories to compile the list.

I'm about to go to bed but give me a day and I'll see if I can come up with a good list. It'd be fun to have a bookshelf with them... something to distinguish this group from others dedicated to the genre. :-)

I think what would be fun would be to actually set a general challenge for members to read, or choose of what they have already read, 26 dystopian books, one for each letter of the alphabet. Then list their reading lists here. Our group bookshelf has at least 1 book for each letter. I just added one for X and that made it complete. And then challenge them that, if anything they have read is not on our bookshelves, to add it so others have it as a resource.

There was a similar idea earlier. I think it sounds great, I should implement it. Maybe change the second challenge.

When I came here, I thought that's what this topic was, an ongoing challenge for both old and new members that goes on as long as the group does. A variation on Ye Olde Standard Introduce Yourself.
