Kaitie wrote: "Is this book good?? Your rating?"I loved it. It has so many useful tips and tricks and lists that I feel I need to know, now that I'm about to graduate college and live on my own. I'm definitely buying a copy for my brother. I'd give it 5 stars.
 3) Shutter Island - Daniel Lehane
      3) Shutter Island - Daniel LehaneI absolutely loved the movie and had no idea it was originally a novel, so of course I wanted to read it. I enjoyed it, although the suspense was lacking because the movie adaptation was so true to the book that I already knew the ending (well, there was one minor difference in the movie ending, but it didn't really affect the ending of the book). All in all, I enjoyed it and I intend to read more of Lehane's books this summer.
 4) Battleship - Peter David
      4) Battleship - Peter DavidSo I originally thought the movie (with Rihanna and Taylor Kitsch) was based off this book, but apparently this is the book adaptation of the movie. Now I've never seen the movie, but it seems to be the action-sort of movie that doesn't necessarily have world-class writing. The book was entertaining enough and a quick read-about 2.5 hour while I was at work- but it wasn't the best thing I've ever read. I enjoyed it, but probably won't end up re-reading it.
I really suck at keeping this up to date...

14) City of Fallen Angels - Cassandra Clare
Honestly, I loved it. I really didn't expect to, but I was hooked. I say it was a quick read because I really couldn't put it down. It took me a few hours to get through but I've already re-read it, so I definitely suggest it if you're into that genre!

I have to read it for my book club, but wanted to know if it was something I should prepare myself for that will take a long time - you know? :)

Reading at a regular pace (and by that I mean with breaks to eat and sleep and possibly have a life), I would say it wouldn't take more than a few days

As a huge fan of the movie, I was really excited to read this book and wasn't disappointed. It was entertaining and witty and it seems that the movie stayed pretty true to the story line - with the exception of the ending. I know the subject matter doesn't really appeal to some people, but I love all the characters in that book so it didn't really matter to me. It was funny and dramatic and smart, so I'd definitely recommend reading it.
