J Brenda - Have you read Screaming in the Silence? Another kind of dark book but many of us have enjoyed reading it.

Brenda Thanks Judy I'll check it out. Cheers!!

Brenda Yes Isabell, can't wait to read the next book. I'm still thinking about the story 24 hours after finishing it. So good!! I've just started Comfort Food think its the right book to chase if with.

J Everyone:

If you haven't read Tabitha's TTM Unbound chapter in TotallyBookedBlog.com you need to NOW. It is wonderful! Finn and Lilith together, after the trial. It is exactly what I was hoping for in TTM2.

J Isabelle:

I know what you mean. I'm in the middle of too less than stellar reads right now and having read just ONE chapter of TTM Unbound I now remember what a really good read feels like.

Sönïa Dhillion Judy when is the book out ?

Tabitha McGowan I'm hammering out the words right at this very moment :)

Nikki Thanks Tabitha!!!! Thanks for the update....great to know.

Dreamer I'm having this dilemma at the moment. I finished it a few days ago and there's a giant hole in my chest. I've started another book but have suddenly developed A.D.D and can't focus on shit. I'm finding it hard looking for something with the same edge.
Fml.

Sönïa Dhillion Rana try horrorscape by tina Campbell thats scary, twisted

Dreamer Thanks for the recommendation, Sonia. Will definitely check it out! :)

Horrorscape is horror, mystery cruel but if you want in-depth detailed cruelty check out obsession by Claire Thompson I am currently reading it and believe me you will hate the hero he is CRUEL you would hate him, want beat him I knew I do and I haven't even read the whole book he's worse than the tied man bitch who used the hero as profit for her otel

Megan Elizabeth Unteachable by Leah Raeder
Taming the Beast by Emily Maguire
The Dark Light of Day by T.M. Frazier
Consequences Trilogy by Aleatha Romig
If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch*

*this one is a little out of context, but a really good book nonetheless

animalhouse Tangled by Em Wolf isn't quite as dark as TTM, but it's pretty raw and gritty for a NA book. I don't usually read a lot of NA because there aren't many that have mature, well written characters. tangled really surprised me; the subject matter was pretty intense and it is really well written, like TTM. Another suggestion is Blind Obsession by Ella Frank because it has a similar dark and twisted theme.

Megan,

Thanks for the suggestions. I just finished The Dark Light of Day. I look forward to reading some of your other suggestions.

Agreed, about Tangled, It's explosive, but comparatively slightly curtailed. It really gets you to question certain preconceived notions, and the characters really grow on you. You feel for them, you urge them on. Loved it.
