Thanks, Annie. A marketing genius? I wish! True I wanted readers of 'Sanctuary' to follow the story further in 'Repercussions' and the idea of adding chapter one of the next book is neither new or unique. Anyway, thanks for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to consider buying the sequel. But be warned, there's the final part 'The Reckoning' which is hopefully being published in November!

(edited to add) I also posted the review on Smashwords at the author's request.

Here's my review of The Burning of Cherry Hill.
I really don't know how to review this book. It is not my favourite genre and at first I didn't think I was going to enjoy it at all. However, once the story got going I was drawn in because of the two main characters. The story line was vibrant, exciting and almost believable. Whilst the plight of the two youngsters made me read on, I got a bit bored with the repetitive torture scenes, the blood and gore.
Having said all that, I think the story was well constructed, and the characters came across well. If the story line could have been set in an era that I could relate to, I would have enjoyed it much more.

Thanks for your review!

Many, many thanks!

That was my last.
I have to say I am really glad to have been part of this group. I truly enjoyed each of the books I was given to read. Thank you guys!
Oh, and all posts were put on goodreads, Amazon US and UK, but if any of my partners want it on any other site, they need only ask.

Can I ask if you remember any of the missing words or conflicting tenses you commented on? I'd love to get them fixed, if I can. My editor has been complaining for months about the dropped words, and we're wondering if it's a corruption in the file or something, since it's stuff that we both swore we already remembered correcting. We've both been noticing randomly dropped words in the drafts sent back and forth.

Thanks.

Amazon is "processing."

Annie, I just uploaded a newly edited version of Cinderella Shoes. I'm hoping I caught all of the errors you saw. I've sent my other collections back to be re-edited too, since I'm not quite sure why text information was being dropped in between drafts. For some of them, it seems to be a problem associated with copy-pasting large text blocks(like full chapters) from other documents, but that doesn't explain all of it. I'm hoping to get a different, more reliable, word processing program to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Thanks for bringing them to my attention!

Awesome! Send me a copy, if you can.

I still want to go over it again, once I've figured out the hardware problems that have been happening, since I don't know the extent of the file problems to know if it'll lose information again. Let me know if you notice other specific spots, and I can compare them to my current files, and try again to fix it. I'm hoping it's just a problem because I use an off-brand version of Word, that doesn't always play nice. It's still frustrating, since I've spent ten times as long proofreading things, trying to track down the erroneous file changes. Yuck.
Thanks, again.

Just wanted to say, K.A. how much I appreciate all the work the moderators put in to this review thread. It's been a great experience and I'd recommend it to anyone else out there looking to have a thorough, non-reciprocal review. Alison LN
