Hi everyone -- I need your help!! Timebound (formerly Time's Twisted Arrow) is the YA finalist for the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award. Voting ends May 29th and the winner will get a publishing contract with a $50K advance.

You can read the reviews here at Goodreads or Amazon. Publisher's Weekly says the main character, Kate, is a strong heroine, calling her "the Katniss Everdeen of timetravel."

No problem. I also added the book to my TBR list and followed your blog via GFC. I love what you said about getting your readers interested in history - as a homeschooling mom, I love teaching my kids history through novels. They're a bit young for your books yet, but I can definitely appreciate your goal!

I definitely think books that use real history are the best way to get kids interested in the subject. So many history textbooks are deadly dull :/
