The Road is a good book. I read it a few years ago.
Didn't think much of Elizabeth is missing by Emma Healey, also read and enjoyed These shallow graves by Jennifer Donnelly now starting The taking by Dean Koontz
Finished two absolutely killer talesWolf Land
by Jonathan JanzAnd
They Rise : A Deep Sea Thriller

Just finished The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian. Really amazing and touching. Check out my review at https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Now reading the woman who walked into the sea by Mark Douglas-Home it's a bit tame compared to usual reads but good so far
Ran out of audiobooks, then suddenly an old save of The Eyes of The Dragon popped up. I started listening to it... it's great. Also reading Amid the Chaos, by Nathan Mogos about a third of the way through it. It's terrific.
I finished Childhood's End as well. A masterpiece...and I started rereading Wolves of the Calla and picked up La casa degli spiriti by Isabel Allende

I have a free audible book, Locke & Key, and about a minute of listening I had to stop.

I just got a copy and will let you know what I think. Try Anne Heche's reading of The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. Or, if you like Joe Hill, Kate Mulgrew's reading of NOS4A2
I'm reading James Clavell's Gai-Jin
part one. I really want to read his book Shōgun
but don't have that one yet.
I am reading "Terminal Man" by Michael Crichton. I've read most of his books and have really liked them. This is a first edition (the third book that Michael Crichton Published). I found this at a yard sale. I am always looking for older books by notable authors.I am about halfway through. So far it's a decent book, but doesn't compare to his later ones.
I'm continuing with the Ringworld Series. I've finished The Ringworld Engineers and now I'm reading The Ringworld Throne.
Finished Submerged
by Thomas F. Monteleone. Absolutely loved it!If you're interested, you can read my review at:

Added a review of Boxed In by John Locke... just finished a few days ago. A true guilty pleasure. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Just finished a review of Boxed In by John P. Locke. Since my ancient iPod refuses to play the rest of the Eyes of the Dragon audiobook, looks like I'll have time to join the read of The Cuckoo's Calling.
I just started reading Little Girl Lost (not the Drew Barrymore book). It is free on the Nook app in February. It is being released in serial format. Couldn't resist a free read!
I started the Bazaar of bad dreams by SK. Just finishing the first story. I have to say to me its classic king crazy:) an evil car eating people....I love it:D
I just finished Ernesto: A Memoir of Che Guevara, and today I'm starting SK Wolves of the Calla, I'm LOVING the series thus far. The Wind Through the Keyhole was FANTASTIC!
Nancy wrote: "I started reading American Gods today."If you like this I have to tell you that Gaiman has another book along the same themes called Anansi Boys, just as good but much funnier. so if you don't want the adventure to end, remember that.
I will have to add that to my list! I am really enjoying American Gods. The stuff in ch 7 about Illinois is spot on!
Katy wrote: "I just finished listening to American Gods. I loved it."Great now get the audio book and read Anansi Boys. Here's my review.
I'm having all kinds of trouble with this site. anyway, here's my review of anansi boys. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I just started Mr. Mercedes by SK. I'm just a few pages in but I'm enjoying it. I love that Det. Hodges' reaction to the taunting letter was probably the exact opposite of what the killer wanted.
Just finished Book # 7 of the Stephen King Challenge, The Long Walk

Another great review Ken and I totally agree. In my mind, this is really one of King's best works.
I made a big effort to finish Night Film by Marisha Pessl this evening I knew if I finished it in bed I wouldn't be able to sleep it's one of those books you can't stop thinking about afterwards, I think this may be my new favourite book ever I absolutely loved it
Oh forgot to say I'm either going to start the kind worth killing by Peter Swanson or Pretty Baby by Mary Kubica
