I am not sure if I can "do" an audio book. I have a free audible book, Locke & Key, and about a minute of listening I had to stop.

Now you have me intrigued. Locke & Key is a graphic novel series. Not sure how that would translate into an audiobook. I just got a copy and will let you know what I think. Try Anne Heche's reading of The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. Or, if you like Joe Hill, Kate Mulgrew's reading of NOS4A2

Gary Martin (gmmartinbooks) | 93 comments I am reading "Terminal Man" by Michael Crichton. I've read most of his books and have really liked them. This is a first edition (the third book that Michael Crichton Published). I found this at a yard sale. I am always looking for older books by notable authors.

I am about halfway through. So far it's a decent book, but doesn't compare to his later ones.

If you like this I have to tell you that Gaiman has another book along the same themes called Anansi Boys, just as good but much funnier. so if you don't want the adventure to end, remember that.

message 3738: by Nancy (new)

Nancy (paper_addict) | 942 comments I will have to add that to my list! I am really enjoying American Gods. The stuff in ch 7 about Illinois is spot on!
