Went to amazon, read the first few pages in the sample and bought a used version for 1¢. Not sure when I can read it, soon I hope.
Too many to count. My current focus though is "The Influence" by Ramsey Campbell. I tried his book "The Overnight" and couldn't get through it, and this one looks like it may be the same way. I want to like him, but something turns me off.Sam

I been meaning to read hearts in atlantis for years so torn between the two of them I really have no idea if I have read H.I.A before I remember starting it and thats all lol
Holly wrote: I've only read The Hobbit. How is the start of th..."It has a slow start, but things take a dark twist quickly. It's not as playful as the Hobbit.
I decided on hearts in atlantis eventually and enjoying it so far, I don't think I have read it all before

Hi Holly
I've only read The Hobbit before too (I think three times) and finally committing myself to the LOTR books. Great so far,I like how Frodo is described and the tom bombadil character. Looking forward to when things really kick off in The Two Towers. Enjoy your reads.
Stevo wrote: "Wizard & Glass as part of the current Buddy Read. :'( Gets better every time."Amen, Stevo. Though I have to say the audio version isn't all it should be.
I'm done with the Buddy Read of Wizard and Glass and got back to the Philip Dick Megapack, a collection of short stories...
In the middle of the book "A Body To Die For" by Kate White wish I would have known about her sooner.
Finished The Black Ice
the second book in Harry Bosch series, a good mystery though the first book of the series was a bit better in my opinion.
I'm done with the collection of Short Stories by Philip Dick and I moved on to American Gods by Neil Gaiman. I heard so many different opinions on this book

Hi Ken, No, I haven't read the book before it's a rating for how much I like it so far. I am on a quest for the most frightening books and I haven't liked one as much as this since IT.
I landed on American Gods by Neil Gaiman and Night Shift, I don't rhink I need to spell it out!. Unforgivable miss
