Bag of Bones. My second most favorite book!! Also still reading Les Miserables-it’s a massive book. I remember reading it 23 years ago and it took 10 months

It's very gothic and atmospheric. I haven't gotten very far because... well, life, but I am really enjoying it. It's also a gorgeous book! It's got so many beautiful artistic touches on the pages.
I've almost finished Midnight Under the Big Top: Tales of Madness, Murder, and Magic
. Some really great short stories in here, and so far the novella at the end is incredibly creepy.
One of my RL book club picks for September was Darkfever. I did not think I would like it so started yesterday to give myself a lot of time to read it. I devoured it in one day!

I looked it up and it was published in The Year's Best Horror Stories (1979). I have a copy of that, so must have read it at some point, but didn't remember it. It felt new to me, so that's a win!
Currently, Bag of Bones. My second favorite SK book of all time and (imo) the most underrated story. 😊

I'm still early into it but so far, I like it.

Today I'm starting Killers of the Flower Moon: Oil, Money, Murder and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann

I'm excited to read it and also excited to see the movie in October!
