Finally... (months later) finished Joe Hill's Strange Weather. Found the first story hard to get through but the other three were incredible. I'm a slow, and fickle, and easily distracted reader, so once I got into it couldn't believe that I was constantly grabbing this book instead of watching youtube or tv or some other distraction.
One of those books that's both creepy and lovely at the same time.
